T232 PNC - When Saying 'Praise G-d from the Heavens' — One Commands All Creation
Pettek Nanach Running Commentary on Likutey Moharan
Beginner: When you say "Praise G-d from the heavens, praise Him all His angels, praise Him all His hosts" (Psalms 148), you are not just praying — you are calling out to all of creation and commanding everything to praise Hashem. In that moment, the human being takes on a remarkable role: standing as the conductor of cosmic praise. Every angel, every star, every creature is summoned by your words to join in praise. This elevates the simple recitation of a Psalm into an act of cosmic leadership. The human is the priest who orchestrates universal worship. Intermediate: T232: When reciting "Hallelu et Hashem min ha-shamayim... hallelu hu kol malachav, hallelu hu kol tzeva'av" (Psalms 148), the person calls upon and commands all creation to praise Hashem. The reciter takes the role of conductor of cosmic worship. LM 232.
