(יז) בחזירתם מארץ ישראל בנסיעתם מנהר דינסטר והכרחו לשנות מלבושיהן ונדמו כדרך הסוחרים בני הנעורים הנהוגים עכשו וכו', ומחמת זה טעו בהם כמה אנשים וסברו בהם שהם מהקלי עולם וכו'. ובבואו לאומין היה להם נסיון וכו'. ואז בנסיעתו משם בזריזות מיד למד זכות על העולם ואמר תדעו שכל דרכנו הוא לידע שיש נסיונות בעולם, ובקל יכולין לכשל חס ושלום. ואמר אוי ואבוי וכו' והתאנח על זה מאד. כי באותו הבית שעמד שם הבעל עגלה הבינו וראו שיש שם זנות ונאוף גדול רחמנא לצלן וכו', אבל אמר שבעזרת השם יתברך יהיה טובה מה שהיה שם, שמעתה לא ימצא שם זנות עוד בבית זה, ואז נתקררה דעתו. גם בטעפליק לא ידעו ממנו, ונכנס אצל מלמד אחד, ושחר פנים לקבלו על שבת, ולא רצה המלמד מחמת שנדמה לו כאלו הוא חס ושלום מהגנבים, ובא אל האיש שהיה עמו וספר לו וכו':

(17.)
