(מא) שמעתי מפיו הקדוש שאמר שהוא יצר הרע גדול אצל הלומדים להמציא חדשות, הינו מה שכל אחד רוצה דיקא להמציא דין חדש:

(41.) I heard from his holy mouth that he said: "It is a great evil inclination by Torah scholars to seek to innovate novelties — meaning that each one wants specifically to innovate some new ruling."
