(89.) "Draw Your kindness to those who know You — O jealous and vengeful G-d" [Sabbath table hymns]. Meaning: we request that Hashem Yisburach draw kindness to those who know Him — to spite the enemies. And this: "Draw Your kindness to those who know You — O jealous and vengeful G-d" — means in order to take vengeance on the enemies — in order that "the wicked will see and be angered" [Psalms 111]. As it is written [ibid. 69]: "For the sake of my enemies — redeem me." And as it is written [ibid. 5]: "For the sake of those who watch me — make straight Your way before me."
