(134.) I heard that he said to someone: "One should be particular that one has a beautiful and precious cup for Kiddush — and this is a segulah for wealth." And he said then that kos [cup] in gematria equals Elokim. And Elokim is the aspect of awe. And awe is the aspect of woman. And our Rabbis of blessed memory said [Bava Metzia 59a]: "Honor your wives — in order that you become wealthy."
