(קמג) אמר לאחד סמוך לחתנתו כיצד מרקדין לפני הכלה (כתבות טז:). ורמז לו כיצד מרקדין ומדלגין על מה שהיה לפני הכלה, הינו לפני החתנה:

(143.) He said to someone before his wedding: "How do they dance before the bride?" [Kesubos 16b]. And he hinted to him how one dances and leaps over what had been before the bride — meaning before the wedding.
