But even so, since I long and pine so greatly day and night with all the expiration of the soul for your good and your healing — which touches upon the benefit of all Israel — Hashem sent into my mind a strong thought to exert myself with all my might with all the essence of my strength, with self-sacrifice, to write at frequent intervals illuminating words

from the words of Rabbainu and his holy and most awesome disciple — which can illuminate the light of G-dliness throughout the entire world and give life to dead bodies such as ourselves today in these our generations.
