When a person comes to some trial, he should know that if he withstands that trial — the Holy Blessed One will perform a miracle for him.

The precious one of my heart, Mr. Z. Shazar, the distinguished one, possessor of a keen, deep, and broad eye to perceive and to grasp who is the true King over Israel right now — who burns away all the falsehood and spirit of impurity of the false leaders, and the strange, putrid, and filthy opinions of the natural scientists — may Hashem strengthen his heart to walk in the ways of the Tzadik, and may the words of his Torah never depart from his mouth, forever.

In direct proportion to the increase of souls that come to the Tzadik to receive the light of his Torah — so does the bad vapor that is wrought upon the earth diminish and become nullified. These are the obdurances of the heretics:

In these latter generations, the false faiths of the false prophets spread and extend in length and breadth, more and more. And the heresies of the evil sects that engage in external wisdom, and multiply evil books of vanity and heresy, filled with vomit and filth more than a privy — and there is no putrefaction or foul odor worse than them in the world. And these are in the aspect of the maiyim she-mayabel (-the waters of the Flood), that confuse greatly and grow stronger to destroy the world, to nullify and to cause Torah and mitzvos to be forgotten — as we see with our very senses — in the aspect of "And the waters grew exceedingly powerful, above all the high mountains" [Genesis 7:19], meaning that no side of rescue is visible, and there is no place to hold oneself and to stand. For because of the enormity of their dominance, hope has virtually vanished, Heaven forbid. But "And You, Hashem, are exalted forever" [Psalms 92:9], and the counsel of Hashem stands forever.

And within the very extremity of the darkness of the abyss's blackness, we have merited that in our very days a secret has been revealed — such a hidden, concealed, and mysterious secret, that the supernal holy worlds did not know of it. It is the light of the true Tzadik, who is the most select point of truth among the perfect and select Tzadikim, the singular ones of the generations — who walks before us and stands and battles against them, to shatter and nullify the filth of their confused and erroneous wisdom, and to breathe upon the embers (he'afirirus), which is the aspect of heresy, in the heart of every one of Israel — until the light of the point of truth in his heart blazes up and burns all the evil and the falsehood, until he yearns and longs continually for Hashem Yisburach and for His Torah and for His true Tzadikim with a very powerful desire. This is the essential thing — "truth shall spring from the earth" [Psalms 85:12] — from the earth specifically, meaning when Israel are laid down upon the earth. Specifically then will it ascend. As it is written: "and he shall ascend from the land" [Hosea 2:2] — from the land specifically.
