[תפילה] "...חוסה עלי כרוב רחמיך. יהמו מעיך ורחמיך עלי, על פגום, הרוס ונשחת כמוני. לב נשבר ונדכה כמוני, נבזה בעיניו נמאס כמוני, עדיין אני רחוק מהתכלית מאד מאד, ועדיין לא יצאתי מחול אל הקודש כמלוא החוט, ואתה את עבדך ידעת, את כל מה שעבר עלי וכל מה שעברתי עד הנה. ועתה אחרי כל אלה, עדיין אני מאמין באמת, שאין שום יאוש בעולם כלל, ועל זה אני סומך עדיין , בכוחם הגדול של הצדיקים האמיתיים, לחתור חתירות עדיין, אולי אמצא פתח תקוה לשוב אליך, להחיות את עצמי, להציל ולמלט את נפשי ממה שאני צריך להנצל ולהמלט.

"…Have compassion upon me — according to the abundance of Your mercies. May Your innards and Your mercies move toward me — toward one blemished, ruined and corrupted as I am. A broken and crushed heart as I have. Despised in his own eyes — abhorred as I am. I am still very, very far from the purpose.
