…The discerning one — the revered one — who thinks thoughts and stratagems — to magnify and to publicize the name of the Tzadik. Who is the aspect of the spirit of Moshiach. Who shatters and subdues and humbles and nullifies all the arrogance and the dominion of the false famous leaders — who conceal and hide the light of the true Tzadik — and separate Israel from the Tzadik. Who speak slander about the Tzadik and those who join him — and conceal his light. Who conceal and hide the light of the true Tzadik — and separate between the congregation of Israel and the Tzadik. And through this the world is lacking in faith — and all the books of the heretics and the investigators that tend toward heresy and apostasy multiply — casting hatred and enmity between Israel and their Father in Heaven.

The true Tzadik is very merciful toward Israel. For he has mercy with true mercy upon Israel — which is to implant within them the holy daas — to make known to them that Hashem is G-d — and to take them out from sins. For this is the essential mercy upon Israel — greater than all kinds of mercy.
