בס"ד רבש"ע תן בלב הצדיק הקדוש והנורא הזה ובלב כל הצדיקים אמתיים לבל יסתירו פניהם ממני ויעמדו בעדי למליצי יושר להפוך בזכותי ולבקש ולמצוא בי נקודות טובות. וימליצו טוב בעדי שתקרביני אליך ברחמיך ותתן בי לב חדש ורוח חדשה תתן בקרבי, שאזכה להתעורר מעתה באמת, לשוב אליך באמת ובלב שלם אי שמים הפגינו בעדי כל בעלי הרחמים וחמלה חמלו עלי, כל שוכני עפר העתירו בעדי מוטבע ביון מצולה ואין מעמד כמוני.
"Master of the World — place in the heart of this holy and awesome Tzadik — and in the heart of all the truly genuine Tzadikim — not to hide their faces from me. And let them stand up for me — as advocates of righteousness — to argue on my behalf — and to seek and to find within me the good points. And let them advocate well on my behalf — that You bring me close to You — through Your mercies. And give me a new heart and a new spirit within me. That I merit to be truly aroused from now on — to return to You in truth and with a whole heart. O Heavens — call out on my behalf! All the possessors of mercy and compassion — have compassion upon me! All the dwellers of the dust — intercede on my behalf! For I am sunk in the miry clay — in the nethermost swamp — and there is no footing — as I am."
