מכתבי שמואל - Michtevay Shmuel Volume 2

Peace and blessing and all goodness forever and all good forever — to the honored self of my beloved dear friend, beloved to me as my soul and my heart — the Chassid who drinks living waters from the well of living waters — Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman [מננמ"ח] — the distinguished Torah scholar, our Master R' Yisrael Dov the Breslover, may he live and be strong.

After warmly inquiring of your good welfare with great love — as fitting — my dear brother: as has been concluded between us — R.A.B.Tz. [R' Alter Ben Tzion] and me — to come soon to Meron, to the holy Tzion of the Rashbi, of blessed memory — and also R' Tzvi Stalmuch [צבי סטלמוך — a new name; a Breslov companion] may also be, G‑d willing, at Meron for the holy Rosh Hashana. And more of the fellowship — therefore: if you wish, wait before coming here until the coming Monday at noon — and if we have not come to you by then, then travel here immediately to Jerusalem for the coming Rosh Hashana. And may G‑d, blessed be He, help us that we be written and sealed in the Book of the Righteous, immediately for a good life — and that we be truly close and bound to Rabbainu the Holy one — and that we merit true and complete repentance [תש"ש = תשובה שלימה], and rectification of the bris, and may the year and its curses conclude and a new year and its blessings begin — and you understand enough.

From me — your friend who loves you truly, who awaits to see you soon with all goodness. Shmuel son of Feiga Horowitz, the Breslover.
