There: "and makes for him a wall of wrath [chomah] — wrath [chemah] is written." This means: in the manner of what our Sages said: "and the waters were a wall [chomah] for them — wrath [chemah] is written" — and so on.

There: "for when money descends to the person — it is in the aspect of 'teref natan l'yerei'av' [prey — He gave to those who fear Him]." For the money and sustenance — their root is from the aspect of gevuros as above — this being the aspect of: [Job 37] "from the north gold comes." And fear is also the aspect of the gevuros — as is known. And therefore: "prey He gave to those who fear Him." And since this [money] is from the aspect of the gevuros — it sometimes turns to anger — and this becomes "one who tears his soul in his anger" [toref nafsho b'apo] — for anger is also from the aspect of the gevuros — as elaborated above in the discourse.
