Siman Two Hundred and Four — Ma'alas HaTzedakahסימן רד — מעלת הצדקה There: "for when this was revealed — a certain account was related about this." This account is not about the virtue of charity to a Torah scholar as above. Rather: about the virtue of fixing regular times for Torah study — which is propitious for money and livelihood. And there it is also elaborated: that meos [small coins] = the acrostic [roshei teivos] of: "v'ein aveirah m'chabeh torah" [v-a-m-t] — and there is no transgression that extinguishes Torah.
