T159 PNC - Shechinah Is Mediator — Each Person Receives Torah Through Their Soul's Vessel (1 seg)
Petek Nanach Running Commentary on Likutey Moharan
Know that there is a mediator between people and God — and she is the Shechinah (Divine Presence). The Shechinah stands between finite human beings and the infinite divine, translating and transmitting the divine will in ways that humans can receive. In Torah study, there is a known distinction: not every individual is able to hear and receive the same Torah teaching from the same teacher. The teaching that reaches one person as a profound illumination may not reach another person at all. This is because the Shechinah mediates between the teacher and each student according to that student's spiritual vessel and readiness. The Torah is one, but the Shechinah distributes it to each person in the measure and form that matches their soul.
