Beginner: There are twenty-four kinds of spiritual redemptions (pidyonot), corresponding to twenty-four heavenly courts of judgment. Each court presides over a different domain of spiritual challenge, and for each one there is a corresponding form of redemption — a way out, a sweetening of the decree. This teaching reflects Rebbe Nachman's comprehensive view of teshuvah and repair: no matter what a person has done, no matter which spiritual court has jurisdiction over them, there exists a corresponding path of return. The redemption precisely matches the court. No one is beyond reach. Intermediate: T215: Twenty-four types of pidyon (redemption) correspond to twenty-four heavenly batei din (courts of judgment) — each court has a matching redemption. Source: Adir BaMarom (Naso 136) and Adra Zuta (293). No spiritual domain is beyond redemption. LM 215.
