The forces of impurity also have "long faces" — extended, pervasive influences that follow you everywhere. This is why the yetzer hara seems to track you no matter which way you turn — its presence is structurally similar to the structure of holiness above. The remedy is tzedakah (charity), which is a great segulah (spiritual protection) against this pursuing klipah-presence.
