And behold — Rabbainu zichrono livracha left four daughters. Three were married. And one was close to twelve years old and had not yet been matched. And Rabbainu zichrono livracha — since he knew he would pass away and spoke much about this — greatly wished to make the match for her during his lifetime. But a proper match had not come his way according to his honor. And many times he spoke with me about this — that he very much wished to make a match for her. And the match with Rabbi Yaakov Yosef was already discussed during his lifetime. But it was not concluded — because of some complication. (Because of the father-in-law of Rabbi Yaakov Yosef who did not wish to spend as was fitting for such a match.) And Rabbainu zichrono livracha — in all his matters — his ways were wondrous. For even though he knew in his holy spirit that this match would be concluded — as was known to us through several proofs — and once he even said explicitly to Rabbi Yaakov Yosef in Zlatipolia: for several years already it would be that he would be his in-law — even so at that time he acted as if he did not know. And the match was not concluded as mentioned. And also various matches were proposed to him for that daughter mentioned above. And he would receive the matchmakers' words and engage in speaking with them. But not a single one of them was concluded — until he passed away in peace. And he left before me a will to give that daughter mentioned above three hundred gold ducats as mentioned. And behold — after his passing — all of us began to seek a match. And there were great patrons who wished to match with her. But they were not fitting in our eyes. And Rabbi Yaakov Yosef mentioned above immediately began asking and petitioning in his letters that he wished to match with her. But his position was not great enough — and was not fitting to spend as was proper for such a match. And because of this the matter was delayed after his passing zichrono livracha more than a year.

And in the year 5572 mentioned above — close to Purim — the match was concluded for that daughter mentioned above with the son of Rabbi Yaakov Yosef mentioned above. And there is much to tell about this. But time is insufficient. In the year 5572 mentioned above — in the summer — I was compelled to travel to the holy community of Kremintchoug regarding the jewels of Rabbainu zichrono livracha that had been left to his daughter mentioned above. And certainly at the time of my journey — when I passed on the road through many of our dear anshei sh'lomaynu who had been close for a long time — for there was the core of our precious anshei sh'lomaynu who had established the holy edifice of old — certainly I spoke there much of the truth of his awesome wonders. And this too was from Hashem then at that time. For it had not occurred to me to circulate there. But He in His mercy arranged circumstances — turning about in His stratagems — in order to bring out the hidden wisdom that was stored in my heart and mind. And then a certain young man of fine and very precious character drew close to us — aside from other young men who had begun to sprout for the good at that time.
And behold — throughout all those times I was tossed about here in Breslov — for I had no lodging as mentioned. And because of this people did not customarily come to me — only at rare intervals. And most of the words I spoke with people were outside my home. And most of it in the study hall. As mentioned — there was here only the one old study hall. For the new study hall that had been here in the house of our Master Teacher and Rabbainu zichrono livracha had burned together with his house before his departure from here. And it had been desolate for many days and years. But Hashem Blessed be He in His great pity had pity on His congregation — and arranged for the good. And He put it into the hearts of several people here who were aroused to rebuild anew the study hall that had been in the house of Rabbainu zichrono livracha that had burned. And this happened in the year 5573. And Hashem's will succeeded in their hands — and they built it and completed it at the end of that year mentioned above — close to Rosh Hashonah of the year 5574.
