Yemei Moharnat
On Erev Yom Kippur we entered to him and he blessed each and every one of us as was always his custom. But he was then somewhat frightening — and great awe and shame fell on all who entered to receive his blessing. And it is impossible to portray the awesomeness of the grandeur of his holy illuminated face then — on Erev Yom Kippur — when we entered to be blessed by him. Happy are we that we merited then to receive his blessing — the blessing that we received from him before his passing. Afterward on Yom Kippur he did not enter to pray together with us as was always his custom — only prayed in his room — as on the second day of Rosh Hashana as mentioned above.
