Chapter Forty-Seven: "And I Will Heal Her"

Oy, oy, oy — Master of the Universe, Master of the Universe… The essential is the words we must reveal, publicize, give our souls for this matter — that the entire redemption depends on Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. To study his books. Every letter, every Torah teaching, every word of his is such a light that speaks to you, speaks about what you need, about all the matters that pass over you, that have passed over you, that will pass over you. And so for this person and so for that person — for each and every one individually.

Rabbenu Rabbi Nachman is the root of the Torah, the root of emunah, the root of each and every one of Israel — wherever he is found, to whatever place he has descended. Our holy Rabbenu takes him out, heals him. What is impossible to heal — a sick person for whom there is no cure for such an illness — but Rabbenu Rabbi Nachman revealed that he can indeed heal and repair everything. Every word Rabbenu revealed is the totality of each and every one of Israel: what passes over him, what has passed over him, his illnesses and his healings! Not only the illnesses — he repairs, purifies, and heals all the sick ones, all the worst ones in the world who have no possibility of recovery.

Oy — happy are we, what we have merited in this darkness, in such concealment: to know of Rabbenu's matter — that he is such a wonder that he can indeed repair us. According to our deeds there is no repair for such sick ones. But Rabbenu Rabbi Nachman has already been in the world — and he can repair all the illnesses that no place can repair and heal. No tzadik can help them. But Rabbenu Rabbi Nachman said: "And I will heal her!"

This is from the end of the story of the Seven Beggars [from the Sipuray Maasiyos]. The king's daughter received bullets of poison and fell weak. Un ich heil zi! — "And I will heal her!" Only I can help you. The Ba'al Davar shot at us all manner of poison, all manner of bullets — and the princess fell weak. Then the beggar said: "Only I can heal her!" Meaning: the Community of Israel, the Shechinah of Israel. This applies to all the people of Israel — to each and every one. There is no one who can heal the people of Israel — only our holy Rabbenu. He revealed about himself that he is this beggar: "And I will heal her" (and Rabbi Yisroel pointed with his palm to himself)…

Our holy Rabbenu — er iz ale betlers, er iz a ba'al-tfilah, er iz a berger — "our holy Rabbenu is all the beggars, he is the Ba'al Tefillah, he is the Burger" [characters from the stories of the Sipuray Maasiyos]. All the Likutay Moharan is Rabbenu — but with great wisdom. A wise man understands from himself. Our holy Rabbenu revealed a drop from the sea. Every matter is small containing the large — small: one word. It contains the entire world. Large: without limit — the entire world.

Our holy Rabbenu said that Mashiach will tell the ending of the story of the Seven Beggars — he left this for Mashiach (laughs)…
