מִכְתָּבְךָ קִבַּלְתִּי בְּיוֹם ו' עֶרֶב שַׁבַּת קֹדֶשׁ עִם הַיַיִן גֶּפֶן וְנֶהֱנֵיתִי מְאֹד. וְהִזְכִּיר אוֹתִי מֵעִנְיַן פּוּרִים בְּאוֹתָהּ הַשָּׁעָה שֶׁמִּפּוּרִים נַעֲשֶׂה פָּרָה וְכוּ', וְדִבַּרְתִּי מִזֶּה עִם רַבִּי נָתָן הַנַּ"ל שֶׁכַּמָּה אָנוּ צְרִיכִין לְהוֹדוֹת לְהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ שֶׁנִּתְגַּלּוּ בַּדּוֹר הַזֶּה נִפְלָאוֹת כָּאֵלֶּה, שֶׁבְּאִגֶּרֶת קָטָן כָּזֶה מֻזְכָּר סוֹדוֹת נוֹרָאוֹת כָּאֵלֶּה, שֶׁפּוּרִים הֲכָנָה לְפֶסַח וְכוּ'. וּבֶאֱמֶת הוּא נִפְלְאוֹת ה'. וּצְרִיכִין לְהַזְכִּיר עַצְמוֹ בְּכָל פַּעַם מֵחָדָשׁ, הַחֶסֶד הַגָּדוֹל וְהַנִּפְלָא שֶׁעָשָׂה הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ עִמָּנוּ עַל יָדוֹ זַ"ל, לְגַלּוֹת לָנוּ תּוֹרַת חֶסֶד כָּאֵלֶּה וְכָאֵלֶּה. כִּי נוֹרָא הוּא אֲשֶׁר הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ עוֹשֶׂה עִמָּנוּ. וְאֵין פְּנַאי עַתָּה לְהַאֲרִיךְ בָּזֶה. וְאַחַר כָּךְ קִבַּלְתִּי בְּיוֹם הַפּוּרִים בַּבֹּקֶר קֹדֶם הַתְּפִלָּה הַסַּךְ שֶׁשָּׁלַח, יְשַׁלֵּם ה' פָּעֳלוֹ וְכוּ', וְגַם מִכְתָּבוֹ וְהַמִּשְׁלוֹחַ מָנוֹת. גַּם אֶתְמוֹל שָׁמַעְתִּי קְצָת שֶׁנִּשְׁמַע בְּטוּלְטְשִׁין שֶׁהֱיִיתֶם שְׂמֵחִים הַרְבֵּה בְּשׁוּשָׁן פּוּרִים עִם כָּל זֶה, וְהָיָה לָנוּ לְנַחַת. עַתָּה בְּנִי חֲזַק וֶאֱמַץ לֵילֵךְ בִּדְרָכָיו זַ"ל, וְלִשְׂמֹחַ בִּישׁוּעָתוֹ תָּמִיד. וּפָרֵשׁ שִׂיחָתְךָ בְּכָל יוֹם וְכוּ', וּשְׁאָר כָּל הַיּוֹם יִהְיֶה בְּשִׂמְחָה. וִיקַבֵּל הָאִגֶּרֶת לְרַבִּי חַיִּים כַּ"ץ, וּבְתוֹכוֹ אִגֶּרֶת לְר' אֶפְרַיִם מ"ס וִיזָרֵז לְשָׁלְחָם מִיָּד בְּפָּאסְט רִאשׁוֹן בְּלִי עִכּוּב, וְאִם יִרְצֶה יוֹסִיף קְצָת. וְכָךְ רָאוּי לוֹ שֶׁגַּם אַתָּה תִּפְרֹס בִּשְׁלוֹמוֹ בְּאַהֲבָה, וּתְבַקְּשׁוֹ שֶׁיִּמְחֹל לְהָשִׁיב לִי מִיָּד תְּשׁוּבָה בְּרוּרָה עַל דְּבָרַי כַּאֲשֶׁר בִּקַּשְׁתִּיו שָׁם, וּבְוַדַּאי תַּעֲשֶׂה הַכֹּל עַל הַצַּד הַיּוֹתֵר טוֹב, כִּי זֶה הָאִגֶּרֶת נָחוּץ מְאֹד שֶׁיַּגִּיעַ שָׁם בִּזְרִיזוּת, וְהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ יוֹשִׁיעֵנִי לְקַבֵּל מִשָּׁם תְּשׁוּבָה בִּזְרִיזוּת. וַה' הַטּוֹב יִגְמֹר בַּעֲדִי לְטוֹבָה. יָתֵר מִזֶּה אֵין פְּנַאי לְהַאֲרִיךְ.
Peace — to my beloved son — my dear one — the rabbinical scholar — and so forth — our Teacher the Rabbi Yitzchok — may he live — with all the rest of his household — peace and great salvation.
דִּבְרֵי אָבִיךָ הַמְצַפֶּה לִישׁוּעָה וּמַעְתִּיר בַּעַדְךָ.
He received his letter today and it was a great comfort. And your reward is doubled from heaven — that you engage in this for such a merit of the many. May it be so — may Hashem be with him — that he merit to learn and to teach — to guard and to do and to fulfil — according to all that is written in them — Amen so may it be His will.
נָתָן מִבְּרֶסְלֶב

וְשָׁלוֹם לְכָל אַנְשֵׁי שְׁלוֹמֵנוּ בְּאַהֲבָה רַבָּה.
The words of your father who awaits to see you quickly in joy. Nussun of Breslov. And praised be G-d — he is returning to his health with Hashem's help — but his strength is still not complete. And to Hashem the salvation — that He strengthen him soon for His name's sake — and restore him to his full vigour with added greatness — Amen so may it be His will. For now — he intends to travel with Hashem's salvation during this week to Tirahowitz — and when he returns after the holy Shabbas coming upon us for good — he will begin to travel home. And Hashem Yisborach in His mercy will give him strength to travel and to come home in peace — for he has no one to lean on except our Father in heaven. And now he hopes to think of a stratagem as to how to send the book there — and the counsel of Hashem — it will stand. More than this there is no need to extend.
