וְהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ יִשְׁלַח רְפוּאָה שְׁלֵמָה לְמַכְאוֹבֵי בִּנְךָ דָּוִד צְבִי שֶׁיִּחְיֶה, וַאֲנִי מְחַכֶּה לַה' שֶׁבְּקָרוֹב יַגִּיעַ לִי אִגֶּרֶת מֵאִתְּךָ שֶׁהָיָה לוֹ שִׁנּוּי לְטוֹבָה. וְעַתָּה בְּדַעְתִּי לְהִתְעַכֵּב פֹּה עַד אַחַר שַׁבַּת קֹדֶשׁ הַבָּא עָלֵינוּ לְטוֹבָה. כִּי בְּיוֹם א' הַסָּמוּךְ יִהְיֶה עֶרֶב רֹאשׁ חֹדֶשׁ, וְאִם יִרְצֶה הַשֵּׁם בְּיוֹם ג' אוֹ ד' אֶסַּע מִפֹּה לְטִירָהאוִויצֶע עַל שַׁבַּת חֲזוֹן, וּמִשָּׁם לִטְשֶׁעהרִין עַל שַׁבַּת נַחֲמוּ הַבָּא עָלֵינוּ לְטוֹבָה. הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ יוֹלִיכֵנִי לְשָׁלוֹם בְּדֶרֶךְ הָאֱמֶת, כִּי אֲנִי סוֹמֵךְ עָלָיו יִתְבָּרַךְ לְבַד. יַנְחֵנִי בְמַעְגְּלֵי צֶדֶק לְמַעַן שְׁמוֹ. וּלְהַרְחִיב בְּדִבְרֵי אֱמֶת אֵין הַזְּמַן מַסְפִּיק. גַּם עַתָּה הוּא בֵּין הַמְּצָרִים וְאֵין הַדַּעַת צְלוּלָה כְּלָל. כִּי אָרַךְ עָלֵינוּ הַגָּלוּת בְּגוּף וָנֶפֶשׁ, הִשְׂבִּיעָנוּ בַּמְּרוֹרִים וְכוּ', עַד אֲשֶׁר כִּמְעַט כָּשַׁל כֹּחַ הַסַּבָּל. אַךְ זֹאת נֶחָמָתֵנוּ בְּעָנְיֵינוּ שֶׁהִקְדִּים לָנוּ רְפוּאָה לְמַכּוֹתֵינוּ הָאֲנוּשׁוֹת מְאֹד, מַה שֶּׁאָנוּ יוֹדְעִין מִקְּדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּזֶה וְכוּ', הוּא נֶחָמָתֵנוּ בִּכְלָל וּבִפְרָט. וְהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ יַעֲזֹר לָנוּ לִבְכּוֹת וּלְהִתְאַבֵּל עַל חֻרְבַּן בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ, וְהָעִקָּר לְהִתְאַבֵּל עַל עֲווֹנוֹתֵינוּ הַמְעַכְּבִים בִּנְיַן בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ, עַד נִזְכֶּה לַהֲפֹךְ הַיָּגוֹן וַאֲנָחָה לְשָׂשׂוֹן וּלְשִׂמְחָה, לִבְטֹחַ בְּחַסְדּוֹ וִישׁוּעָתוֹ הַגְּדוֹלָה שֶׁיִּתְהַפֵּךְ הַכֹּל לְטוֹבָה.
