The Sanctity of the Seven Candles

One should sanctify one's eyes — by not gazing at evil. One's ears — by hearing the words of the wise. One's nostrils — by lengthening one's patience with every matter and having compassion on one toward whom one might have been angry. One's mouth — by sanctifying it with words of Torah and prayer, and by guarding it from forbidden speech. Through this one merits Divine abundance and purity of thought.
