(8.) The second burned book had four sections. That aforementioned book he first handed to two of our people [Rabbi Yudl and Rabbi Shmuel Aizik], and he commanded them to travel to the towns and to say in each and every city a little from this book. And he also commanded them to take some booklets in manuscript of the Torah discourses he had revealed — which were afterwards printed in the book Likutay Moharan — and to leave in each city some pages from them. For at that time none of his holy books had yet been printed. And there are also several stories about those two aforementioned men in this matter. (And this was in the summer of the year 5566.)
