Hungarian Wine

(20.) He gave a parable. Once, a great merchant traveled with fine Hungarian wine. One day, the servant and the wagon driver said to their master: "We travel this road with this wine and endure so much hardship; let us taste a little." He gave them a taste of that fine wine. Some days later, it happened that this servant met with some wine drinkers in a small town. They drank wine and praised it greatly, saying that it was Hungarian wine. The servant said, "Let me taste it," and they gave him some. He said, "I know that this is not fine Hungarian wine at all." They scolded him and pushed him away. But he said, "I know that this is not Hungarian wine at all, for I was with such a great merchant..." They paid no attention to him. He said: "But in the future, when the Messiah comes, they will know. When the wine kept in reserve is served, others may be deceived: they will be given Wallachian Stravitzer wine and told that it is the fine wine kept in reserve. But our people cannot be deceived, because we have tasted the fine wine."
