(כו) הוכיח את אחד שלא היה אצלו כמה שנים, וענה ואמר לו הלא כל העולם לא נברא אלא לצוות לזה (שבת ל:). ועל כן כל אחד ואחד צריך לתן איזה כח וסיוע לזה הצדיק להיות לו צותא, וכו'. ויש שהם נעשים לו בחינת צותא על ידי תפלתם או על ידי יראת שמים שלהם, שעל ידי זה נותנין כח וסיוע לזה הצדיק. ויש שנותנים לו ממון או כיוצא בזה, מה שכל אחד עושה איזה דבר שבקדשה שעל ידי זה נעשה צותא לזה. אבל כפי מה שאני רואה (ווי איך זעה) אין אתם נצרכים כלל להעולם, כי אין מגיע מכם שום צותא לזה:

(26.) He rebuked someone who had not been with him for several years, and answered and said to him: "Is it not so that the entire world was created only to accompany this" [Shabbos 30]. And therefore every single person must give some strength and assistance to this tzaddik — to be tzavta [companionship] for him etc. And there are those who become tzavta for him through their prayer, or through their awe of Heaven — through which they give strength and assistance to this tzaddik. And there are those who give him money or the like. Whatever each person does — some holy thing through which he becomes tzavta for this one.
