And in our very days Hashem performed a great salvation for Israel and gave us the land and the complete holy Jerusalem in six days — through great and awesome miracles and wonders. And He struck the great lion Russia with a great blow — and Syria and Jordan and Egypt and the other Arab countries that surrounded me from every side to annihilate us, Heaven forbid.

And now, after these awesome things that Hashem performed with Israel — all the nations, and even those who present themselves as lovers and friends, provoke and accuse us, and think evil against us.
