Also I had great pleasure and satisfaction beyond measure — that I saw that you have the merit to fulfill the special mitzvah of the Ten Commandments: the honor of father — "that your days be lengthened" [Exodus 20:12]. I received for the cheque — seventy Israeli liras. Know — that it is more than half a year that I am paying for rent one hundred liras a month — instead of fifty liras that I paid before (until now). I am weak in strength and suffer from several illnesses — not upon you. And Hashem Yisburach is my helper — and has given strength to the weary — to serve Him with all my heart and all my soul.
