Trembling and alarm seized me and I was crushed exceedingly — upon seeing that after all the goodnesses and the wonders that Hashem performed with us through His most awesome mercies — there entered into our territory a storm wind and a great cloud. Which is the Satan — the accuser — the prince of slaughterers — who strives and lies in ambush to butcher the person from both worlds. And we need abundant mercy — to stand guard for our souls and to battle with him and to subdue him and to shatter him and to nullify him. For he wishes to separate those who are cleaved to the true leader — the Nachal Noavaya — in truth. And to corrupt and to nullify, Heaven forbid, such a strong and eternally true and upright bond that Hashem placed between us — the like of which there is none in the world. From which a golden crown is made for Hashem Yisburach — and the honor of Hashem and the honor of the true Tzadik was magnified (and sanctified) and elevated in all the worlds. Would that my eye were a source of tears — and I would weep always with a wailing cry over our many sins that have caused all of this. I pray and hope — that we merit to be aroused — to renew and to strengthen the bond of our love with more power and strength!
