לִבִּי וּבְשָׂרִי, הַמּוּכָן לָבוֹא בָּאֵשׁ וּבַמַּיִם עַל הָאֱמֶת הָאֲמִתִּי הָאָהוּב עָלָיו בַּעֲבוֹתוֹת אַהֲבָה לְלֹא גְּבוּל בַּל יִנָּתֵק לְעוֹלָם, וְזָכָה לִהְיוֹת עֶבֶד נֶאֱמָן בְּבֵית אוֹצָרוֹ שֶׁל הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת, שַׂר הַשָּׁלוֹם, שֶׁמְּקַבֵּץ וּמַכְנִיס כָּל הָרְחוֹקִים וְהַנִּדָּחִים וּרְשָׁעִים גְּמוּרִים לַה' יִתְבָּרַךְ, וּמְגַלֶּה אֱלֹקוּתוֹ וּמַלְכותוֹ לְכָל בָּאֵי עוֹלָם, וְיֵעָשׂוּ כֻּלָּם אֲגֻדָּה אֶחָת לַעֲשׂוֹת רְצוֹנוֹ. מַה טּוֹב וּמַה נָּעִים גּוֹרָלְךָ.

One whose intention is toward the truth — and who girds himself for battle for the sake of the truth — is always victorious. The essential thing is the attachment to the true Tzadik — upon whom stands the entire world and its fullness. For he is the holy bridge — through which one passes through all the flowing waters and is saved from all of them. And this is the aspect of the splitting of the Reed Sea — that they walked on dry ground within the sea. When one holds the weapons of war to battle with those who prevent him from the point of truth — through this itself he has already greatly conquered. For every deed and light movement that a person overcomes himself to do for the sake of drawing close to the Tzadik — is very precious in the eyes of Hashem Yisburach. And immediately he greatly conquers — a true and eternal victory — that will remain established forever. Sometimes a person can fall, Heaven forbid, specifically through the truth. For he knows within himself that in truth he has greatly corrupted and blemished — and even now he is as he is. And therefore the adversary entices him to push him away entirely through this very truth.

אֲנַחְנוּ צְרִיכִים לִשְׁמֹר עַצְמֵנוּ מְאֹד מְאֹד מִקִּלְקוּל הָאַהֲבָה וּמִפֵּרוּד לְבָבוֹת חַס וְשָׁלוֹם, שֶׁעַל-יְדֵי זֶה אֵין יְכוֹלִין לְהִתְחַבֵּר וּלְהִצְטָרֵף יַחַד כְּאַחִים וְרֵעִים זֶה לָזֶה, רַק לְהוֹסִיף וּלְהוֹסִיף לְהַרְבּוֹת אַהֲבָה וְאַחְדוּת בֵּינֵינוּ כְּאַחִים וְרֵעִים אֲמִתִּיִּים זֶה לָזֶה, כְּדֵי שֶׁנּוּכַל לְהִתְחַבֵּר וּלְהִצְטָרֵף יַחַד תָּמִיד שֶׁעַל-יְדֵי זֶה יִתְגַּדֵּל וְיִתְרַבֶּה מְאֹד מְאֹד בִּנְיְנֵי הַבָּתִּים הַנִּפְלָאִים וְהַקְּדוֹשִׁים שֶׁל הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת בְּלִי מִסְפָּר, עַד שֶׁכָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל וַאֲפִלּוּ הַשּׁוֹכְבִים בַּחוּץ יִתְקַבְּצוּ וְיִתְאַסְּפוּ יַחַד לִכְנֹס בָּהֶם, וַאֲפִלּוּ אֻמּוֹת הָעוֹלָם יִתְוַסְּפוּ עַל בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְשֶׁכָּל הִתְקָרְבוּת גְּאֻלַּת וִישׁוּעַת כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל תָּלוּי בָּזֶה.

But the true Tzadik has already revealed to us — that the truth of truth is not so. For every person must always strengthen himself in Hashem Yisburach — and even in the nethermost depths, Heaven forbid — he should know and believe that he is still close to Hashem Yisburach and there is no despair in the world whatsoever. And one can return even from there and draw close to Hashem Yisburach in truth. For certainly one must guard oneself from sin — and even from the slightest blemish. But even so — even if one has stumbled as he has stumbled — even thousands and tens of thousands of times, Heaven forbid — even so at every moment the kindnesses of Hashem are not exhausted. And one can bring himself close to Hashem Yisburach at every moment and from every place where he may be. For His greatness Yisburach is beyond all reckoning. And through drawing close to the Tzadik — everything can be transformed to good — in the aspect of "sins are transformed into merits". And this is the essential truth of truth.
