לִכְבוֹד יַקִּירִי חֶמְדַּת לִבִּי, הָעַסְקָן הַחֲרֵדִי וְרַב פְּעָלִים בְּתוֹרָה וְיִרְאַת ה' הַדָּגוּל בְּמִדּוֹת טוֹבוֹת, הַנִּכְבָּד וְהַנָּעִים, הַנֶּחְמָד וְחָבִיב לַכֹּל, וּלְרַעְיָתוֹ הַנִּכְבָּדָה מְאֹד, אִשָּׁה יִרְאַת ה' הִיא תִּתְהַלָּל.
The adversary always lies in ambush for the person — and especially regarding his end — which is the aspect of the end of days. For this reason the adversary provokes himself now in these generations against each and every person greatly — with desires and heresies and apostasy — which now spread in the world in a way the like of which has never been heard in the days of old. And even the somewhat worthy people have fallen greatly. And all of this is because we are already close to the end and the completion of the repair of the world in ultimate perfection — through our righteous Moshiach — who will come speedily in our days and redeem us with an eternal redemption after which there will be no exile. Therefore the adversary extends himself in length and breadth — and the essential thing is through the great dispute against the true Tzadik.
הֲרֵינִי שׁוֹלֵחַ לָכֶם בָּזֶה אֶת בִּרְכָתֵנוּ הַחַם וְהַלְּבָבִי בִּשְׁמִי וּבְשֵׁם כָּל מִשְׁפַּחְתִּי, בִּרְכַּת 'מַזָּל טוֹב' לְשִׂמְחַת כְּלוּלוֹת בִּתְכֶם הַנִּכְבָּדָה וְהַמְהֻלָּלָה. יְהִי רָצוֹן לִפְנֵי אָבִינוּ שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם שֶׁיִּהְיֶה זִוּוּגָם עוֹלֶה יָפֶה בַּגַּשְׁמִי וְרוּחָנִי, וְיִזְכּוּ לִבְנוֹת בַּיִת נֶאֱמָן לְשֵׁם וּלְתִפְאֶרֶת, בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל סַבָּא, לְאֹרֶךְ יָמִים וְשָׁנִים טוֹבִים, וְיֵצְאוּ מֵהֶם דּוֹרוֹת יְשָׁרִים וּכְשֵׁרִים כִּרְצוֹנְכֶם הַטּוֹב, וְתִרְווּ רֹב עֹנֶג וְנַחַת מֵהֶם וּמִכָּל יוֹצְאֵי חֲלָצֵיכֶם. אָמֵן כֵּן יְהִי רָצוֹן.
Therefore every single person must strengthen himself very greatly — without limit. And however things may be — he must overcome himself at least with good and strong desires toward Hashem Yisburach. For from every place one can return to Hashem Yisburach. And the essential thing — however things may be — one must at least overcome himself with good and strong desires toward Hashem Yisburach. For even so — I desire the truth. For the will is always free. And through it is the essential gaining of strength in the battle.
ה' יְזַכֵּנוּ לִרְאוֹת בְּשִׂמְחַתְכֶם שִׂמְחַת עוֹלָם, שֶׁתִּזְכּוּ לֵילֵךְ בְּדֶרֶךְ הַיָּשָׁר בְּדַרְכֵי הַתּוֹרָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה.
The essential victory in the long battle — which every person must battle in this world — is through the holy daas that the true Tzadik illuminates even after his passing in every generation (to his disciples). Through which he saves Israel from sins. And the essential daas — it is impossible to illuminate within them except through hints.
