מַחְמַד עֵינִי וְלִבִּי, אֲשֶׁר לְגֹדֶל גְּדֻלַּת רוֹמְמוּת נִשְׁמָתוֹ הַיְקָרָה זָכָה לִכְנֹס בְּהֵיכַל הַחָכְמָה וְהַמַּדָּע דִּקְדֻשָּׁה, וְזָכָה לְבַקֵּשׁ וּלְחַפֵּשׂ אֶת הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת.
Even though one must (hasten greatly in the service of Hashem) — to weep greatly before Hashem Yisburach every day over one's soul — that He redeem it speedily from the desires of this world and its vanities.
עַל-יְדֵי הִתְגַּלּוּת שֵׁם הַצַּדִּיק בְּמִלִּים וּסְפָרָיו הַקְּדוֹשִׁים שֶׁהֵם נִגְלִים וּמְחַזְּקִים הָאֱמוּנָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, נִתְבַּטֵּל מִמֵּילָא הַכְּפִירוֹת וְהָאֶפִּיקוֹרְסוּת שֶׁל סִפְרֵי הָאֶפִּיקוֹרְסִים הָרָעִים וְהַטְּמֵאִים בְּמִלִּים.
Even so, when he sees that the matter is greatly delayed — he must wait and hope a long time — period after period — for the salvation of Hashem. Perhaps Hashem will see it in His eyes. And even though in truth the obstacle is from our side — because we are not worthy in our deeds as is fitting.
אֲנִי אֶפְתַּח לָכֶם שְׁבִילֵי הַשֵּׂכֶל בְּעִנְיַן הָאֱמוּנָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה וְתֵלְכוּ וּתְטַיְּלוּ בְּהַפַּלְטִין שֶׁל הָאֱמוּנָה כְּדֶרֶךְ הַהוֹלֵךְ וּמְטַיֵּל בְּהֵיכָלוֹת וּבִנְיָנִים נָאִים נִפְלָאִים וְנוֹרָאִים מְאֹד, וְתֵכֶף כְּשֶׁנִּכְנָסִים בְּחֶדֶר אֶחָד וּמַתְחִילִים לְהִסְתַּכֵּל בּוֹ וּלְהִתְפַּלֵּא עַל נִפְלְאוֹת הַחִדּוּשִׁים אֲשֶׁר בּוֹ, בְּתוֹךְ כָּךְ רוֹאִים שֶׁנִּפְתָּח לוֹ פֶּתַח נִפְלָא לְחֶדֶר אַחֵר, וְכֵן מֵחֶדֶר זֶה לְחֶדֶר אַחֵר, וְכֵן מֵחֶדֶר לְחֵדֶר וּמֵחֶדֶר לַעֲלִיָּה, וְכֻלָּם פְּתוּחִים מִזֶּה לָזֶה בִּפְתָחִים וַחֲלוֹנוֹת וּמְקֻשָּׁרִים וּמְשֻׁלָּבִים זֶה בָּזֶה בְּסֵדֶר נִפְלָא וּבְחָכְמָה עֲמֻקָּה וּבְתַכְלִית הַיֹּפִי וְהַנּוֹי. אַשְׁרֵי הַזּוֹכֶה לִטְעֹם נֹעַם מְתִיקוּת הָאֱמוּנָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה.
And even if the person is as he is — even so, as long as he turns his eyes upward and guards and waits and looks forward to His salvation Yisburach — there is hope for him. That through this itself Hashem Yisburach will have compassion and pity upon him — and bring him close to His service in truth. And everything will be transformed for good — through the Tzadik, the foundation of the world — upon whom everything depends — and through whom is the essential existence of the earth (the world).
