Letter 165

When there is truth — there is peace. It is better to bring oneself close to a Tzadik who is merciful. It is good to spend a long time — for the sake of even a single hour of drawing close to the Tzadik. There is one who preaches well — and even so he does not aim toward the truth. Through dispute against the Tzadik — the Torah is forgotten. Attachment to the Tzadik is a great healing. From the awesome heroic deeds of the wondrous great greatness of the power of the Tzadik — this is the essential of the aforementioned subjects.
