השתפכות הנפש - Hashtatfchus HaNefesh
רַבִּי יוּדָן אָמַר: בָּשָׂר וָדָם יֵשׁ לוֹ פַּטְרוֹן אִם בָּאת לוֹ צָרָה אֵינוֹ נִכְנָס אֶצְלוֹ פִּתְאם, אֶלָּא הוֹלֵךְ וְעוֹמֵד אֵצֶל פֶּתַח חֲצֵרוֹ שֶׁל פַּטְרוֹנוֹ וְקוֹרֵא לְבֶן בֵּיתוֹ וְאוֹמֵר, אִישׁ פְּלוֹנִי בַּחוּץ, אֲבָל הַקָּדוֹשׁ-בָּרוּךְ-הוּא אֵינוֹ כֵּן אִם בָּאת לְךָ צָרָה וְכוּ' לוֹ צְוַח וְהוּא עוֹנֶה אוֹתְךָ הַדָּא הוּא דִּכְתִיב כָּל אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָא בְּשֵׁם ה' יִמָּלֵט (יְרוּשַׁלְמִי בְּרָכוֹת ט .
Encouragement for passionate prayer – to appreciate the importance of even a small segment He would strengthen his men who complained before him with great protest against that which they were so distant from prayer, and it was so difficult for them to pray. And he would encourage them and console them with many expressions, that they should not be disheartened because of this. He said: Behold, by a convert (that converted), what an achievement it is by him, to know how to just recite the words until "Baruch SheUmar" ("Blessed is He Who said" – the second part of the morning prayers), therefore it is befitting to console oneself, and cheer oneself, that in any case he merits to say the words of the prayer.
