תּוֹרָה קעא כְּשֶׁנִּתְעוֹרֵר וְנִתְגַּלֶּה שֵׂכֶל חָדָשׁ בַּעֲבוֹדַת הַשֵּׁם, יֵשׁ בָּזֶה: צַדִּיקִים יֵלְכוּ בָם, שֶׁעוֹבְדִים עִם זֶה הַשֵּׂכֶל אֶת הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ, וּפֹשְׁעִים יִכָּשְׁלוּ בָם, שֶׁאֵינָם עוֹבְדִים בָּזֶה אֶת הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ, רַק שֶׁעַל־יְדֵי־זֶה מְבַזִּין וּמְחָרְפִין אֶת הָעוֹלָם עַל שֶׁהֵם יוֹדְעִים מִזֶּה הַשֵּׂכֶל הֶחָדָשׁ, וְהָעוֹלָם אֵינָם יוֹדְעִים מִזֶּה:
When a new intellect is awakened and revealed in the service of Hashem — there is in this: ""the righteous walk in them"" [Hoshea 14:10] — for they serve Hashem with this new intellect. ""And the transgressors stumble in them"" — for they do not serve Hashem through this. Rather through this they shame and disgrace the world — for they know of this new intellect — while the world does not know of it.
