One who knows of the Land of Israel — who has truly tasted the taste of the Land of Israel — can recognise in another whether he was with a Tzadik on Rosh Hashonah or not. For one who merits to be with a true Tzadik on Rosh Hashonah — in every place this person looks — the air becomes the aspect of the air of the Land of Israel. And therefore one who knows the taste of the Land of Israel — according to each person's level — is obligated to sense the taste of the Land of Israel — when encountering and gathering together with this person who was with a true Tzadik on Rosh Hashonah. For through him — the air becomes the aspect of the Land of Israel as above.

The primary virtue of the holiness of the Land of Israel is only through the providence of Hashem Yisborach — because Hashem Yisborach looks upon it always — as it is stated: ""Hashem your G-d's eyes are always upon it — from the beginning of the year"" etc. And eyes — after the name wisdom — is stated [Bereishis Rabbah 19:5]. And through this the Land of Israel is holy and its air makes one wise. The true Tzadik who occupies himself to draw people close to Hashem Yisborach — he is the primary glorification with which Hashem Yisborach glorifies Himself in Israel. (Which is the aspect of His "tefillin", may He be blessed.) For through him comes all the drawing close and the glorification. [And therefore when one of Israel distances oneself from Hashem Yisborach — the "Shechinah" cries: ""I am lightened from my head — I am lightened from my arm."" That is — the "tefillin" is blemished — as it were — which is made from the glorification. And when one of Israel — and all the more so many people — draw close to Hashem Yisborach — then the light of the glorification increases — which is the light of the "tefillin" of Hashem Yisborach, may He be blessed. And from this comes — as it were — the providence of Hashem Yisborach — that He watches over Israel for good. And from this flows the holiness of the Land of Israel and the aspect of: "the air of the Land of Israel makes wise".] (And therefore the houses of the "tefillin" must look at the air — as is written in the "Shulchan Aruch" — for the four houses are the aspect of the four directions of the Land of Israel. And through looking at the air — they are sanctified with the holiness of the Land of Israel.) And therefore one who looks upon him — and especially during the gathering of those who come to him to hear the word of Hashem. And especially on Rosh Hashonah — when it is the time of the greatest gathering. And then the glorification is greater — since many people gather who wish to draw close to Him, may He be blessed. And then the beauty and splendour of the Tzadik is magnified and increased — for he himself is the primary glorification as above. And then one who looks upon this true Tzadik — this is the aspect of looking and seeing in the light of the "tefillin" of Hashem Yisborach. And then one receives through this also the aspect of the "tefillin"-minds. And then one's eyes become the aspect of the eyes of Hashem. And then — in every place one looks — the aspect of the holiness of the Land of Israel flows — the aspect of: "the air of the Land of Israel makes wise."
