תּוֹרָה נב אַל יְבַהֲלוּךָ רַעְיוֹנֶיךָ כְּשֶׁקָּשֶׁה לְךָ אֵיזֶה קֻשְׁיוֹת עַל הַצַּדִּיקִים הָאֲמִתִּיִּים, כִּי הַצַּדִּיקִים מִתְדַּמִּים לְיוֹצְרָם, וּכְמוֹ שֶׁקָּשֶׁה קֻשְׁיוֹת עַל הַנְהָגוֹת הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ, כֵּן בְּהֶכְרֵחַ שֶׁיִּהְיֶה קָשֶׁה קֻשְׁיוֹת עַל הַצַּדִּיקִים, וּבְעִנְיַן הַקֻּשְׁיוֹת שֶׁקָּשֶׁה עַל הַנְהָגוֹת הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ, דַּע, כִּי מֵעֹצֶם רוֹמְמוּתוֹ יִתְבָּרַךְ אִי אֶפְשָׁר לְהַשִּׂיג הַשָּׂגָתוֹ, וְאִם הָיָה הַנְהָגָתוֹ חַס וְשָׁלוֹם כְּפִי חִיּוּב דַּעְתֵּנוּ, אִם כֵּן הָיָה חַס וְשָׁלוֹם דַּעְתּוֹ כְּדַעְתֵּנוּ, וְאִם כֵּן כָּךְ יָפֶה וְנָאֶה לְהַבּוֹרֵא יִתְבָּרַךְ, שֶׁיִּהְיֶה מְרוֹמָם וְנִשָּׂא מִדַּעְתֵּנוּ:
The greatness and preciousness of thought cannot be measured. For from it literally complete things are made — that have permanence for all the days that the worlds will endure — forever. And wisdom is more precious still. For thought is what rises upon one's thought alone. And wisdom is when one builds structures in one's mind. And it is very precious. And the essential matter — that it be in truth. And even a plain interpretation that one innovates — it is also a very great matter. And it must also be in truth. And likewise in the opposite direction — when it is without truth — from it too are made things in the opposite direction.
