ליקוטי עצות מהדורא בתרא - Likutay Aitzos (Mahaduras Basra)
א. עַל יְדֵי תְּפִלָּה בְּכַוָּנַת הַלֵּב זוֹכִין לְעֵצָה שְׁלֵמָה כִּי הַתְּפִלָּה שֶׁהִיא בְּחִינַת מַלְכוּת בְּחִינַת אִשָּׁה יִרְאַת ה' הִיא בְּחִינַת עֵצָה. ב. 'וְתַקְּנֵנוּ בְּעֵצָה טוֹבָה מִלְּפָנֶיךָ' שֶׁבִּתְפִלַּת עַרְבִית צְרִיכִין לוֹמַר בְּהִתְעוֹרְרוּת גָּדוֹל וּבְכַוָּנָה גְּדוֹלָה מְאֹד מֵעָמְקָא דְּלִבָּא כִּי מְאֹד צְרִיכִין לְבַקֵּשׁ רַחֲמִים עַל זֶה מִלִּפְנֵי הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ שֶׁנִּזְכֶּה לְעֵצָה טוֹבָה וְלֵידַע אֵיךְ לְהִתְנַהֵג וְכוּ'. ג. קַל יוֹתֵר לִתֵּן עֵצָה לְאַחֵר מִלְּעַצְמוֹ.
Through prayer with heartfelt intention one merits to complete counsel — for prayer, which is the dimension of malchus [sovereignty] — the dimension of "a woman who fears Hashem" — is the dimension of counsel [aitzah].
