Lots have fallen to me in pleasant places; yea, a beautiful inheritance is mine [ Psalms 16:6 ]. Master of the Universe — I give thanks before You always for having granted me the great privilege and the immense merit to come close to You and to the true holy tzadikim . And therefore I now raise my inner mind and the hidden recesses of my heart before You in prayer and supplication — that You return me from the depths of the earth and raise me up from the deep chasms [ Psalms 71:20 ]. Master of the Universe — Who repays the guilty with goods and Who has dealt me all goodness: You alone know all that has passed over me — the good and the not-good; from my youth until this day. Hashem G‑d — You know [ Psalms 71:5; II Samuel 7:20 ]. And now — having come before You: to raise my head and the innermost of my mind and the hidden of my heart before You in prayer and supplication — that You not deal with me according to my deeds; but rather deal with all flesh and spirit with Your righteous acts; and not repay me according to my evils. Grant me merit and help me that I merit in my lifetime to repair the blemish of honor [ pegam ha'kavod ] — that I have blemished through all that I have done; and through this to merit to come close to You and to the Land of Israel as I was distanced through my many sins. Master of the Universe — King of Glory forever [ Psalms 24:10 ]: You created the entire world with ten utterances [ asarah ma'amaros ]; and You created man with the ten utterances as well; and in those ten utterances are included all the aspects of honor and glory. And all the obstacles that arise in every holy matter and in every thing of holiness that a person begins to do — all of them come from the blemish of honor. And therefore I have come before You now with all my heart — to seek and to beg before You: have pity on me and give me the strength to stand in the palace of the King. Master of the Universe: You know that in every matter of holiness that I begin to do — immediately all the forces of obstacle rise against me to prevent me and to confuse me and to distract me; and to make me despair of everything; and to make me feel distant from You; and to prevent me from any holy matter whatsoever. And You know the immensity of the battle that we wage daily — in each moment and instant; and You know that we have no strength at all except to turn to You alone. Therefore I have come to entreat and to beg before You: help me and strengthen me in all my holy desires — that I merit to fulfill them all; and that I not hold myself praiseworthy in this — for thus was I created. And therefore have mercy upon me and save me and grant me merit to give much charity [ tzedakah ] — and in particular to the poor of the Land of Israel; for through charity we merit to repair the blemish of honor; and we merit to raise our head and our inner mind before You in truth. And in the merit of the charity — grant me merit all the days of my life to behold the pleasantness of Hashem and to visit in His Sanctuary [ Psalms 27:4 ]. And grant merit to me and to my children and to all of Your people the House of Israel: that there go forth from us generations of true tzadikim and holy and upright ones who are truly fitting — in every generation and generation without end; until the coming of Mashiach speedily. And help and save us that we always have holy and true community [ kehillah kedoshah ]; and that there always be a gathering and a fellowship of those who fear Your Name — and in particular among the fellowship of those who desire to fear Your Name. Master of the Universe — Master of peace; King to Whom the peace belongs: You know the great opposition [ hit'garbut ] that exists between the nations against Israel always. And have mercy upon us and save us from them always; and draw upon us the peace that comes from the Land of Israel — from the mind of the Land of Israel.
Master of the Universe — true merciful One: please have mercy upon the fitting poor of the Land of Israel [ aniyei Eretz Yisrael ha'hagunim ]; and give them their livelihood with ease and in honor; and give sustenance and life and vigor to all the poor of Your people Israel wherever they are; and send them salvation and help and rescue speedily. And may the verse be fulfilled: May His Name endure forever; may His Name be renewed as long as the sun; and may all the nations bless themselves by Him; may they praise Him [ Psalms 72:17 ]. Blessed is His glorious Name forever — and may His glory fill all the earth. Amen and Amen. You are mighty forever, O Lord [ Adonai ]; You revive the dead; You are greatly powerful to save. You sustain the living with lovingkindness; You revive the dead with great mercy; You support the fallen and heal the sick and release the bound and fulfill Your faithfulness to those who sleep in the dust [ Amidah — Gevurot ]. Master of the Universe — and beyond all this: from all the days of the world — and beyond this, all is vanity and vexation of spirit [ Ecclesiastes 1:14 ]. Master of the Universe — what shall I say and what shall I speak and how shall I justify myself? In what manner shall I present my face to come before You? For I know that I shall certainly be judged — and we shall merit to be as Your good will desires in truth. Master of the Universe — Master of the Universe: open the mouth of one mute like me; open my mouth and it shall declare Your praise [ Psalms 51:17 ]. And help me and save me — that I not lose anything, G‑d forbid, from now. Our Father in Heaven — living G‑d and eternal King; Who revives the dead with great mercy: strengthen me and help me that I always merit to speak with You — to converse and to pray before You always; and that all my speech always be only prayer and Torah and holy matters; until I merit to the aspect of the Divine Presence speaking from within my throat [ Shekhinah medaberes mitokh goroni ]; and I merit to true humility in truth. And therefore may it be Your will — full of mercy; Singular Master: that You help me and grant me merit to lead my life through the true leader [ manhig emes ]; and to receive life and vitality and blessing and good from the true leader — who leads the world always. And may You grant me merit through gazing upon the true leader [ histakklut ha'manhig ha'amiti ]. And grant me merit through Your abundant mercies — that the world always be conducted through the true leader who leads it in holiness and purity — as Your good will desires in truth. Master of the Universe — Master of all worlds; full of mercy; Who has mercy on the creatures: help me and save me that I merit to true holy shame [ bushah dikdushah ]; that I merit to fear and to be ashamed before You always — as is fitting. And may this holy shame protect me always; so that I sin no more from now and forever. Master of the Universe: grant me merit to holy shame [ bushah dikdushah ] — that I merit to fear and to be ashamed before Your great and awesome Name always and at every time. For You know: how holy and awesome is the shame before You — when a person is truly ashamed before You at every time. And from this holy shame one attains to true repentance; as it is written: G‑d has come to test you; and so that His fear be on your faces — so that you sin not [ Exodus 20:17 ]. Master of the Universe — full of mercy; Who desires repentance; Who gazes upon the wicked one and desires his betterment: help me and save me that I merit to desire repentance; and that the holy desire of repentance be spread and clothed in each and every one of my limbs and limbs.

Singular Master — the truly humble One [ he'anav be'emes ]: grant us merit to true humility [ anavah amitit ] as Your good will desires — that we merit to true humility in truth; I shall not die but live and recount the deeds of G‑d [ Psalms 118:17 ]. Master of the Universe — because of the immensity of my materiality and the multitude of my iniquities and my great transgressions: there is no mouth to speak and no forehead to raise the head; and I am not worthy to ask at all for anything from You; and all the more so for the eternal pleasures of the World to Come — in the aspect of the resurrection of the dead. Master of the Universe — our King and our G‑d; the great and mighty and awesome G‑d: Who has no limit: grant us merit to true humility as Your good will truly desires. Master of the Universe — Who sees to the end of all generations; Who declares the end from the beginning [ Isaiah 46:10 ]: and You planned thoughts [ devises thoughts ] to lead and to bring all of us to this purpose — to eternal life of the World to Come. Therefore have pity upon me and upon all of Israel with Your great compassion; and do what You shall do — in Your wondrous ways; and have mercy upon me from now; and deal with me only according to Your great and abundant mercy. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen — netzach selah va'ed. You created Your world from the beginning for the sake of Israel Your people whom You chose; and in them You invested all the goodness of the world; and for their sake You made everything; and through Israel — Your people — the whole world was renewed and renewed. And I know and believe with complete faith that through all the ways of the counsels that You revealed to us through the true holy tzadikim — it is possible to repair everything; and it is possible to return to You with complete repentance; repentance upon repentance — always. Please — my Father; compassionate Father: all the ways of Your counsels that You revealed to us through the tzadikim — are all straight and upright; all beloved; all clear; all holy — and all stand in the height of the world. Yet because of the immensity of our materiality and our stubbornness — it is very difficult for us to truly fulfill the counsel itself; especially me. Therefore help me and strengthen me and embolden me from now to be as Your good will desires — always. Master of the Universe: grant me merit to be greatly accustomed to saying much Tehillim at every time; and to the saying of Tehillim with great joy — with the voice of singing and thanksgiving; for Hashem is good; for His lovingkindness is forever [ Psalms 136:1 ]. Full of mercy: grant us merit to go out from the exile of Egypt; and from all the exiles of the soul and of the spirit; and from all manner of exiles — of the body and the soul and the spirit and the mind; and in particular from the exile of the mind; and to go out from all the exiles as quickly as possible — as we went out from Egypt: Return us, Hashem , to You and we shall return; renew our days as of old [ Lamentations 5:21 ]. Master of the Universe: Remember Your mercies, Hashem , and Your lovingkindnesses — for they are from the world [ Psalms 25:6 ]. Remember now — for I beg before You always: save me and have mercy and compassion upon me; for I have been greatly bowed down and fallen; and You know all. And I am not worthy of anything good; but only through Your great and immense mercy and Your wondrous and boundless lovingkindnesses — that are renewed every single moment; and through the power and the merit of the true holy tzadikim of every generation: have mercy upon me and save me — that I merit to repair everything and to return to You in truth always.
כו אָב
Master of the Universe — Who sees to the end of all generations; Who devises thoughts so that no outcast be expelled from Him: have mercy upon me and upon all of Israel; and do not let our blemishes of even one day — or even of one hour — be great before You. Master of the Universe: this is my consolation in my poverty — what the true tzadikim have strengthened us with; and through this strengthening I have a little strength to live and to sustain and to be hopeful still always; and to always draw close to You — to repair everything in my life speedily and to be as Your good will desires — always. Master of the Universe: Without You I see nothing — teach me [cf. Job 35:14 ]; for I am a brutish man and know not; and I am like an animal before You [ Psalms 73:22 ]. And therefore have mercy upon me and teach me and guide me in all things; and may I not move right or left from Your will. For the lovingkindnesses of Hashem are not exhausted — and His mercies are never spent [ Lamentations 3:22 ]. Full of mercy: grant me merit to multiply the saying of Tehillim with great intention [ kavvanah gedolah ] and with great devotion; until through the saying of Tehillim I merit to complete repentance and to all the repairs and salvations that depend on the saying of Tehillim; and may I not stray from my prayer and the meditation of my heart before You at all. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen and Amen. May it be Your will, Hashem our G‑d and G‑d of our fathers — Who performs miracles and wonders: that You help us and grant us merit to fulfill the commandments of Purim in all their particulars and fine points and intentions — and the 613 commandments that depend upon them. Master of the Universe: You have already revealed to us that all the miracles and wonders that You performed for Israel in all the exiles — are all hinted in the Torah; and through the study of the Torah we merit to draw down and renew the miracles always. And through this we also merit to be pure to receive the holiness of the Pesach offering in its time. Master of the Universe: You know that because of the immensity of our fall and our descent in the depths of the exile — and the great distance from You in which we are immersed now: it seems to us as though the festivals are only a remembrance of the Exodus from Egypt — and now, and so on. [These words trail off in the original — as if speech itself fails to describe the distress.] Master of the Universe — Master of all worlds; Master of wonders Who causes salvations to sprout: at this time help and save us; and in particular — save us and rescue us from all the enemies and adversaries and haters — all of them who are from the side of Haman and Amalek — may his name be blotted out. And now — what shall I say before You Who dwells on high; and what shall I recount before You Who abides in the heavens? I return to fall on Your mercies — and to look and to hope for Your compassion [ Psalms 123:1 ]; and to call out to You from the depths of my heart — to have mercy upon the souls of Israel and to rescue them from sins and blemishes. Master of all worlds — Singular and Primordial; Hashem G‑d of truth: You alone know the full measure of the distance in which I find myself — fallen and sunken and buried in the dust before You; and yet I await Your mercies and Your salvation.
Master of the Universe: You alone know the immense strength of the miracle that occurred in the days of Mordechai and Esther; and how You saved Israel then with wondrous salvation — in a completely hidden way; and how by all natural reckoning it was impossible for such a miracle to happen; for the decree had already been signed and sealed. And we trust in You that You will renew for us the miracles in our lives speedily — and we shall not return again to folly. Master of the Universe — Who revives lives; living G‑d and eternal King: have mercy upon us and upon all Your people Israel; and grant us merit to receive all the holy festivals with great holiness and purity; and in particular — Pesach; and the festival of Shavuos; and the festival of Sukkos; and may we merit through the festivals to exit from grief to joy and from darkness to great light. And help us and save us to fast the Fast of Esther before Purim in great holiness and purity; and in a fitting manner; and in great joy — despite the fast; until we merit through the fast to complete repentance in truth. And help me and guide me — what way and counsel I shall merit to truly return to You. Master of the Universe — great in counsel and mighty in deed [ Jeremiah 32:19 ]: repair me with good counsel from before You; in such a manner that I merit to always walk in the path of truth from now; and to repair everything; and to return to You in complete repentance in truth from now; as is truly fitting. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. May it be Your will, Hashem my G‑d and G‑d of my fathers: that You be with me in my help; and may I merit through Your help to the aspect of the Divine Presence speaking from within our throats [ Shekhinah medaberes mitokh gronainu ]. Master of the Universe: I have asked too much — but according to the greatness of Your mercy and Your graciousness and Your abundant lovingkindness — and according to the wondrous and great ways in which You deal with all Your creatures: please be filled with mercy upon me; and fulfill this request also. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. And I entreated [ Va'eschanan ] Hashem at that time saying: O Lord Hashem — You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your strong hand; for what G‑d is there in heaven or earth who can do according to Your works and according to Your mighty acts? [ Deuteronomy 3:23–24 ]. And I entreat and beg before You: have mercy upon me and help me and save me; that I merit to fulfill all the words of Your Torah in love; and to merit through this to Torah study for its own sake [ lishmah ] always; and to fear of Heaven in truth — from now and forever. Master of the Universe: I have no mouth to speak and no forehead to raise my head; I have come only as a poor man knocking on the door — and he does not move away. And I know and believe that You will receive me with love and help me and save me; and grant me merit to fulfill and to keep all the words of Your Torah in love. Master of the Universe: what shall I speak — and You know me. But You have already informed us that the needs of Your people are many and their knowledge is short. And I stand before You and know not from where to begin or from where to end — for everything has been exhausted and worn out in my mouth. And You — please be filled with mercy upon me and act with me in the wondrous ways of Your mercies. Thus I looked to You in the sanctuary — to behold Your might and Your glory [ Psalms 63:3 ]. And therefore may it be Your will — Hashem our G‑d and G‑d of our fathers: abundant in lovingkindness and truth: that You open our heart in the study of Your Torah; and that we merit to Torah study with great and holy intention; until we merit to Torah study for its own sake in complete truth. Fortunate are those who are blameless in the way — who walk in the Torah of Hashem [ Psalms 119:1 ].
Master of the Universe — Who performs free lovingkindness in every generation: You — through Your mercies and Your lovingkindness freely and without payment — have already performed for us great and wondrous lovingkindnesses; and You have drawn us close through wondrous and hidden ways. And therefore I draw close to You again now — to beg before You; and deal with me only in great holiness and purity for Your great Name in truth. And open my heart in the study of Your Torah: that I merit to understand and to comprehend the depth of every matter and every Torah law; and to grasp and to hold on well to each thing; until I merit to always be attached and united with the Torah; and to hear and to receive every word of Torah with a complete and whole heart; until I merit to Torah study that gives life. And may I merit through the Torah study to the hidden path — which is the way to conquer the Land of Israel. Please Hashem — full of mercy: grant us merit and help us to draw close and to be always included among the true tzadikim ; and in particular — the great holy true tzadikim of our generation. And may we always hear from them — the holy true tzadikim — what they have caused us to hear: that there is no despair in the world at all [ ein ya'ush ba'olam klal ]. Master of the Universe — full of mercy: You know the situation and state of Israel at this time; and You know how much they need to come to the Land of Israel; and how the holiness of the Land of Israel is connected and drawn down to each and every one of Israel wherever they are — even to those who are very far. And have mercy upon me and draw down upon me all the ten sanctities of the Land of Israel. My Father in Heaven: help me and save me in the wondrous ways of Your awesome wonders — in the ways of simple wholesomeness [ temimut peshutah ]; in complete faith as Your good will desires. Singular Master — full of mercy; my King and my G‑d — to You I pray. Hear my prayer — O Hashem ; and grant our request; and deal with us only according to the greatness of Your mercy — in the merit of the true holy tzadikim ; may their merit shield us. Master of the Universe — Master of all worlds: have mercy upon me and fulfill my requests for good; and deal with me and with all of Israel only with great mercy and lovingkindness; and give each and every one of us all that we need — from You alone; from Your hand alone. And may we merit to receive everything only from You and not from flesh and blood; and may we not be shamed nor humiliated; and may we merit to always return to You with complete repentance. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen and Amen. Master of joy and exultation — in Whose place is might and joy [ 1 Chronicles 16:27 ]; and there is no sadness before You: have mercy upon us and help and save us and strengthen us in joy always; until we merit through the joy to support all those who support Torah and give to them the gift of their hands generously. Please Hashem — help them and pour upon them all goodness: wealth and honor and life; children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and all manner of goodness and blessing; and may they merit to increase their giving to those who engage in Torah and service in truth; until their lot is good and their portion is pleasant and their inheritance is beautiful. Grant us merit to remember and to believe in Your lovingkindnesses and Your wonders and Your great goodness that are without end — and that are renewed at every moment; and through this always strengthen the hands of those who engage in Torah and service in truth.

Master of the Universe: You know the pressure of our livelihood at this time — for the strength of the bearer has been weakened [ Nehemiah 4:4 ]; and there is great poverty and suffering among Israel. And therefore have mercy upon us and help and save us; and give each and every one of Israel his livelihood according to his need; and lead all the world only in ways of kindness and compassion; until everyone shall know You — from the smallest to the greatest [ Jeremiah 31:33 ]. Master of the Universe — fulfill our requests for good with mercy; and grant us merit to come to all the holy places [ kol makomos kedoshim ]; and in particular to the Land of Israel and to Jerusalem and to the graves of the true tzadikim . May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen and Amen. Hashem is a man of war — Hashem is His Name. Hashem — powerful and mighty; Hashem — mighty in battle [ Exodus 15:3; Psalms 24:8 ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon me; and give me strength and courage and boldness to always come before You; and that Your mercies and Your lovingkindnesses toward me shall never be exhausted and never cease — forever. Therefore I have come before You — full of mercy; King of Glory; Who performs salvations in the midst of the earth [ Psalms 74:12 ]: help me and save me; for I have no one upon whom to lean — except my Father in Heaven. Master of the Universe — what shall I say; what shall I speak; how shall I justify myself? For there is no word on my tongue; You know it all entirely [ Psalms 139:4 ]. And have mercy upon me — and establish my will to be as Your will in truth. Master of the Universe: teach me the ways of true humility [ anavah amitit ]; teach me how to subdue my heart before You always; and guard me and save me from pride and arrogance, G‑d forbid — from now. And therefore I have come before You — Hashem our G‑d and G‑d of our fathers: that You help me and save me and grant me merit to repair everything that is broken; and to strengthen myself always in joy before You in all circumstances and situations; and in particular at times of spiritual low and distance from You; even then — may I not despair and not be disheartened at all; but rather strengthen myself in You always. And even now I still hope and wait for Your salvation: I yet wait — until He looks down and sees from Heaven [ Lamentations 3:50 ]. He Who has compassion on the poor [ chomel dallim ]: have pity and compassion please upon me and upon all of Israel; and save us speedily for the sake of Your Name. He Who makes peace in His heights — through His mercies may He make peace upon us and upon all of Israel; and say: Amen. Master of the Universe: help me and save me from now; and do what You shall do — in Your great mercy; and help me through Your mercy from now on. Master of the Universe — full of mercy: You have told us that all the repairs and all the Torah depend on the holy Bris [ Bris kodesh ]; and therefore I have come before You now — to beg and to entreat: help me and save me and strengthen me from now to repair the Bris in truth as Your good will desires.

And therefore help me in the power and merit of all the true tzadikim who merited to repair the Bris in ultimate perfection — and through this may I merit to go out from slavery to freedom. And grant us merit to the holiness of the holy Shabbos; and nullify from us all the weekday matters — that we not be occupied with them at all on the holy Shabbos; but only in matters of holiness. And may we merit to receive from the holy Shabbos all the blessings from the source of blessings. And grant us merit through the holiness of Shabbos to arrive quickly at the true purpose [ ha'takhlit ha'amiti ]; and through this — each one shall be greatly strengthened always forever. Please Hashem — wise of heart and strong of might [ Job 9:4 ]; for wisdom and understanding are with You alone: help me and save me to strip away my leprous body [ guf metzora ]; for wisdom and understanding are with You alone; and only with Your help will I be able to preserve with me the desires of Heaven as Your good will desires in truth. And therefore help me through Your abundant mercies — that I merit to strip away my leprous body from me completely; and to nullify completely the evil loves and the evil fears from within me; and to nullify the left side before the right side. And through this right hand — raise up those who have fallen into evil loves and evil fears [ ahavas v'yiras ra'os ]; to raise them up and strengthen them and revive them; until they merit to complete and absolute joy in truth — through the holy love. And through Your abundant mercies — remember all the blood that was spilled in Israel in general and in particular; and redeem it; and may all the spilled blood of Israel be redeemed — both the blood of the body and the blood of the soul [ dam ha'nefesh ]; and may they all be accepted before You with love; and may all the sins be transformed to merits. Full of mercy — Who loves His people Israel; Who chooses His people Israel in love: arouse Your mercy and pour out a spirit of grace and supplication upon the House of David and upon all of Israel always; as Your good will desires — always from now and forever. Amen Selah. O Lord [ Adonai ] — open my lips; and my mouth shall declare Your praise [ Psalms 51:17 ]. Master of the Universe — Who hears prayer: help me and save me and strengthen me and embolden me to always multiply prayer and supplication and praise and thanksgiving before You; and may I merit through my prayers and supplications to the eternal redemption — to unite the Tent to be One [ l'chabeir es ha'ohel lihyos echad ]. Full of mercy — Redeemer of Israel: have mercy upon the Congregation of Israel [ Knesses Yisrael ] — which is the Divine Presence [ Shekhinah ]; and have mercy upon the Shekhinah in exile and upon all the exiles of Israel; and bring the complete redemption speedily — the redemption of the soul and the redemption of the body. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen — netzach selah va'ed.
כז אָב
I am my Beloved's and my Beloved is mine — Who pastures among the roses [ Song of Songs 6:3 ]. My Father in Heaven — my King and my G‑d: if I ascend to the heavens — there You are; and if I make my bed in the depths — behold You are there [ Psalms 139:8 ]. Master of the Universe — full of mercy; Who devises thoughts so that no outcast be expelled from Him: have mercy upon me and upon all of Israel; and may we merit to complete repair for all our corruptions — as Your good will desires in truth. Master of the Universe — full of mercy: You have revealed to us through Your holy sages — that Your mercy has no limit and no end and no searching. And therefore may it be Your will — Hashem my G‑d and G‑d of my fathers: that You illuminate my eyes in the light of Your countenance; and draw upon me the illumination of the face of the living King; and draw down upon me new true holy words always; until I merit through them to complete repair as Your good will desires in truth. Full of mercy: because of the multitude of my corruptions I am unable to lengthen this prayer greatly — for I am greatly bowed down and crushed and broken before You; and I have no heart and no mind and no mouth to speak before You the multiplicity of what I need. And You know the greatness of my need and all that is necessary for me; and You know all the corruptions and blemishes and ruins. And therefore — deal with me only in the great abundance of Your abundant mercies. Generation to generation shall praise Your works; and shall tell of Your mighty acts [ Psalms 145:4 ]. And have mercy upon us and save us — that we merit to always guard ourselves not to eat any forbidden thing at all; not even the slightest forbidden thing in the world; in such a manner that we always eat as is appropriate for the truly holy tzadikim who eat to the satisfaction of their souls of holiness [ ochlim l'sova nafsham dikdushah ]. Please Hashem — full of mercy: help us and guard us from now — that we not lose anything more at all from Your service; and not lose anything from the good that we have already acquired; and not lose what good is yet before us in the future. He Who makes peace in His heights — through His mercies may He make peace upon us and upon all of Israel; and say: Amen. G‑d blessed — great in knowledge [ Liturgy — Nishmas ]: grant us merit through Your abundant mercies and reveal to us through Your great lovingkindnesses — all that we need to know for our life and our service of You; and draw down upon us great and wondrous salvations. He who found a wife found good — and obtained favor from Hashem [ Proverbs 18:22 ]. Singular Master — full of mercy; Who sees to the end of all generations; Who conducts His worlds: have mercy upon all of Israel who need to find their match [ shidduch ]; and help each and every one to find his or her fitting match. And may there be received from them holy offspring who are a light to the world; and who walk in the holy ways that all the tzadikim left in this world. Master of the Universe: not according to our sins did You do to us; and not according to our iniquities did You repay us [ Psalms 103:10 ]. And therefore: deal with us now also only according to Your mercy and not according to our deeds. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen and Amen.

To You, Hashem , I call — and to my Lord I plead: what profit is there in my blood if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise You — shall it declare Your truth? [ Psalms 30:9–10 ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon me and help me and save me; and deal with me only in the way of Your mercies and Your wondrous ways; in the merit of the true tzadikim — may their merit shield us. And therefore have mercy upon all of Your people the House of Israel who need to find their match — that they merit to find their fitting match speedily; and may the verse be fulfilled in them: He who found a wife found good [ Proverbs 18:22 ]. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. This prayer is founded upon the awesome secret that our Master — of blessed memory — revealed regarding the greatness of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai; and it is good to say it on Lag B'Omer. Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai — holy city that descended from Heaven [ ir v'kaddish min shemaya nachit ]; holy luminary [ butzina kaddisha ]; faithful shepherd [ ra'aya mehemna ] — You who already saw and attained and knew and perceived and grasped all that is necessary to know and to attain in this world; and You already revealed to us the deepest secrets of the Torah; and the deepest secrets of repentance; and the deep secrets of the Heavenly Chariot [ Ma'aseh HaMerkavah ]; and the deep secrets of Creation [ Ma'aseh Bereishis ]; and You drew us close to G‑d and to His Torah. And now I come and cast myself before Your holy spirit — to cry and to cry out before the splendor of Your holiness. Rabbi — Rabbi — Rabbi; Father — Father [ Abbi Abbi ]: Chariot of Israel and its horsemen [ II Kings 2:12 ]; illumination of the luminary of light [ nehiru devutzina d'or ]: what shall I lament; what shall I say; what shall I speak; and how shall I justify myself? Master of the Universe: place in the heart of this holy and awesome tzadik [if he merits to be a true tzadik ] compassion upon me — for I am sunken deep in the miry clay and there is no foothold like me [ Psalms 69:3 ]. Rabbi — Rabbi — Shimon ben Yochai: remember this and take it to heart — that in this generation we have merited to great and mighty men; and in their merit You will be crowned; through me [in my name] shall the righteous crown themselves — for You act bountifully toward me [ Psalms 142:8 ]. Do not remember against us the iniquities of the former ones; may Your mercies swiftly meet us — for we have been greatly impoverished [ Psalms 79:8 ]. Master of the Universe: have mercy upon us for the sake of Your Name — that all the sins be nullified and atoned entirely on their own. Master of the Universe — what shall I say before You Who dwells on high; and what shall I recount before You Who abides in the heavens? I know full well all that I need to save myself and to be guarded from. Master of the Universe — Master of the Universe — Master of all worlds: who is like You — Father of mercy; Who remembers the lovingkindnesses of the patriarchs and brings the redemption to their children's children; for the sake of His Name with love. And You have already made known to us through Your holy sages all that You have made known.

Master of the Universe — Master of the Universe: have mercy upon me and upon all of Israel in this time of trouble and distress — this bitter and harsh exile; and have mercy upon the Shekhinah in exile; and have mercy upon the souls of Israel scattered in all the corners of the world; and save us and help us quickly — for we have no other helper; and give us salvation and help and rescue speedily. Teach transgressors Your ways — and sinners shall return to You [ Psalms 51:15 ]. Full of mercy: You know how very far I am from compassion — from having compassion on the creatures. And therefore have mercy upon me and give me the power to arouse Your mercies through my own compassion. Have mercy — O full of mercy — and remember for us the covenant of the Thirteen Attributes [ bris shelosh esreh ]; and remove our transgressions and our sins — and cast them into the depths of the sea [ Micah 7:19 ]. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. One thing have I asked of Hashem — that I shall seek: to dwell in the house of Hashem all the days of my life; to behold the pleasantness of Hashem and to visit in His Sanctuary [ Psalms 27:4 ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon me and help me and save me; that I merit to true dwelling in the house of Hashem — to be always bound and attached to You; without eating or drinking or marital relations or other desires. Have pity upon me as the abundance of Your mercies — may Your innards yearn and Your mercies be upon me: upon the blemished; the ruined; the destroyed; the broken; the crushed one. And save me from all that I need to be saved and rescued from. Master of the Universe — Master of the Universe — Master of the Universe; Knower of thoughts; Knower of hidden things: have mercy upon me and help me and save me; that I merit to free myself from the vanities of this world and to return to You in truth. Grant me merit to say Tehillim every single day with great intention [ kavvanah gedolah ] with a whole heart; and may I link and connect my heart to the holy intention of the saying of Tehillim — as You have revealed to us that the saying of Tehillim is a proven remedy [ segulah ] for repentance. Have mercy upon me — O full of mercy; and revive me and sustain me; and grant me merit from now in everything that I need; and help me from now in everything — no matter how far I am; even so — nothing is withheld from You. And guard me and save me from quarrel and dispute; and be with me in my help that the quarrel not harm me — neither my body nor my soul nor my money; until we merit through them [i.e. through the merit of the tzadikim ] also to three hundred and ten worlds [ shai olaimos ]. Have compassion upon us and help us — that we remind ourselves at every time of the wonders of the sweetness of the Neilah prayer [ niflaos aravat tefilas Neilah ]; until we sanctify Your great Name forever and ever and for eternities of eternities.

And grant me merit to always bring good tidings to Your people Israel; and through this I merit to the delight of Neilah and to add prayer and to always do all that I can — and may You always be my help. Do not be far from me O G‑d — hasten to my help; O Lord — my salvation [ Psalms 22:20 ]. G‑d settles the solitary in a home; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity [ Psalms 68:7 ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon me and upon all of Israel; and draw down the holiness upon each and every one wherever they are; and bring together all who are scattered in all the corners of the world; and establish holy community and holy fellowship always among all of Israel. Blessed is His glorious Name forever — and may His glory fill all the earth. Amen and Amen. The praise of Hashem shall my mouth speak; and all flesh shall bless His holy Name forever and ever [ Psalms 145:21 ]. Let my soul be filled as with fat and richness; and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips [ Psalms 63:6 ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon me; for all my vitality and all my hope is only the holy faith [ emunah kedoshah ]. Have mercy — have mercy — O full of mercy; have mercy — have mercy — O Who devises thoughts so that no outcast be expelled from Him: have mercy upon me and upon all of Israel; and lead and guide us always only in ways of truth; and have mercy upon me and deal with me only according to Your abundant lovingkindnesses. G‑d of faith in Whom there is no wrong — righteous and upright is He [ Deuteronomy 32:4 ]. Awesome and terrible One: give me complete faith [ emunah sheleimah ]; give me strong and correct faith in truth — that is complete in all its particulars and fine points as is truly fitting; with all the strength and intensity and completeness that holy faith requires. And may I merit to faith that is truly whole; and to attach myself to the holy faith always; until I merit to all the salvations and repairs and great lights that depend on holy faith. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. Who is for me in heaven — and with You I desire nothing on earth. My flesh and my heart have failed — but G‑d is the rock of my heart and my portion forever [ Psalms 73:25–26 ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon me and upon all of Israel; and deal with us only according to the greatness of Your mercy and the immensity of Your wonders and lovingkindnesses; and do all that we need — in body and soul and spirit; in this world and the World to Come; for You can do everything and nothing is withheld from You. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen. May it be Your will — Hashem our G‑d and G‑d of our fathers: that You nullify wars and bloodshed from the world; for You can do all and nothing is withheld from You. Master of the Universe: have mercy upon us and bless all our handiwork; and give us livelihood and sustenance; and fill our houses with all good things — that we not lack anything; and that we not need to seek our livelihood from the hands of flesh and blood. And may we merit through the livelihood to fulfill the verse: I held him and would not let him go [ Song of Songs 3:4 ]. And have compassion upon me with Your great compassion; and help us and save us to persist in Your Torah and Your service — from now and always; and may we merit to always be attached to You; until we merit to full joy before You forever. Make known to me the path of life; fullness of joy in Your presence; pleasantness at Your right hand forever [ Psalms 16:11 ]. And guard us and always save us from unworthy students [ talmidim she'einam hagunim ]; for You know that unworthy students damage the Torah and its teachers greatly. And may Your people Israel always have worthy and fitting teachers — until the complete redemption speedily. Blessed is Hashem forever — Amen and Amen.

G‑d of compassion — that is Your Name; G‑d of grace — that is Your Name; upon us Your Name is called: Hashem — act for the sake of Your Name . Master of the Universe: act for the sake of Your Name; and may You sanctify Your Name; and help us and save us that we merit speedily to the sanctification of Your Name in the world; and to the sanctification of Your Name in all its details and fine points; in accordance with the holy and pure and perfect Torah. Have mercy — have mercy; O full of mercy: for Your Name is called upon us — do not abandon us. May Your innards yearn and Your mercies be upon us; and pour out upon us the spirit of grace and supplication [ Zechariah 12:10 ]. And have mercy and help us from now; for there is none other than You — and we have no G‑d besides You — Selah. Act for the sake of Your Name and sanctify Your Name; and be with us and help us that we merit speedily to the awesome and holy Days of Awe [ Yamim Nora'im ]; and to receive them in great holiness and purity and joy; and to complete repentance and great repair; in the merit of the true tzadikim of blessed memory — may their merit shield us. And through this may we merit to receive the days of the festival of Sukkos and Shemini Atzeres and Simchas Torah with great holiness and purity and joy and exultation; and may we merit through Sukkos to the complete sanctification of Your Name; and may this holiness spread to the entire world. Blessed is His glorious Name forever — and may His glory fill all the earth. Amen and Amen. In Hashem I have taken refuge — how can you say to my soul: flee to your mountain like a bird? [ Psalms 11:1 ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon me and upon all of Israel; and draw down and pour out great salvation and help upon each and every one of Israel — wherever they may be; and may each and every one be saved and rescued through You alone; and may the verse be fulfilled in us: Blessed is His glorious Name forever — and may His glory fill all the earth. Amen and Amen. Who shall rise up for me against the evildoers — who shall stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Were it not for Hashem — my help [ Psalms 94:16–17 ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon me and help and save me; that I merit to bind all my bad deeds and blemished thoughts — and to no longer blemish at all. Have mercy — have mercy; rescue — rescue: help me and save me — that I merit to bind all the thoughts of my mind to You always; and may I merit through this to truth and to complete and whole Torah and prayer and to all the repairs that depend on this binding [ haksharah ] of the thoughts to You. Blessed is He Who hears prayer. Hear my prayer, Hashem — and give ear to my cry; do not be silent at my tears [ Psalms 39:13 ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon us and return us to You in complete repentance speedily. Master of the Universe — Master of mercy; King Who is appeased by tears [ melech mitratze b'dema'os ]: You know the immensity of what I have corrupted and blemished through my evil thoughts and my confused and disordered thoughts. Have mercy upon me for the sake of Your Name — O full of mercy; and give me awesome holy Days of Awe [ Yamim Nora'im kedoshim ] — good and holy and awesome; in such a manner that trembling and shaking shall seize them [who see the Yom HaDin]; and they shall say: behold — the Day of Judgment.

Master of the Universe — Master of the Universe — awesome and terrible One: give me new words now; new and true speeches every time; in such a manner that they stir all the hearts of Israel — and have great compassion upon all of Israel with great compassion and surpassing love. And grant us merit to a beautiful etrog on the holy festival of Sukkos — that we have a beautiful etrog and beautiful arba'as ha'minim [the four species]; and may those who are truly living and breathing give honor and splendor to Your kingdom. And help us and save us and grant us merit to fulfill the commandment of Sukkah at its proper time — in all its particulars and fine points and intentions; and in great holiness and purity; and with great joy. For on the day of trouble He will hide me in His Sukkah; in the hiding place of His Tent He will conceal me; upon a rock He shall raise me [ Psalms 27:5 ]. Master of all worlds — full of new mercies at every time: I spread my hands before You; and have mercy upon me and upon all of Israel; and pour upon us Your new mercies at every time; and fill all our requests for good. Blessed is His glorious Name forever — and may His glory fill all the earth. Amen and Amen. He Who supports the fallen — answer us on the day we call. He Who supports the fallen — save us. He Who supports the fallen — answer us on the day we call [cf. Psalms 145:14; Amidah ]. Master of the Universe — have mercy upon me; and help me and save me and strengthen me and embolden me always; for I do not know what to say; what to speak; how to justify myself: G‑d has found out my iniquity [ Genesis 44:16 ]. Have mercy upon me through Your immense mercies — in the power and merit of the true tzadikim whom we follow; and help and save me and strengthen me to always serve You in great joy and with a good heart — without any crookedness of the heart at all. Have mercy upon me — O full of mercy; and do not let my troubles be small before You — see my poverty and my toil; and forgive all my sins [ Psalms 25:18 ]. And may You be filled with great mercy and compassion upon me; and deal with me only according to the immensity of Your mercy and lovingkindness and Your great truth. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem , my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen. May it be Your will — Hashem our G‑d and G‑d of our fathers: that in the merit of all the tzadikim whose names we have mentioned before You — You help us and save us and grant us merit to all that we have asked before You; and that we merit to the good portions of this world and the World to Come in the Garden of Eden; and that we not enter before You in shame. And help us through the merit of the recitation of the names of the tzadikim — that we merit to act upon and accomplish all our requests before You; as it is written: But as for the holy ones who are in the earth — and the majestic ones; all my delight is in them [ Psalms 16:3 ]. Full of mercy: remember us with good remembrance before You; and visit us with a visitation of salvation and mercy. And fill all our requests for good before You; as it is written: For Hashem will not abandon His people; and He will not forsake His inheritance [ Psalms 94:14 ]. Blessed is He Who supports the righteous.
