Through the great Tzadik being able to illuminate those who are great in stature — the darei ma'alah [dwellers of the heights] — and to inform them that they still do not know at all of His greatness — through this very thing he can draw close those who are very distant and lowly and strengthen their hearts not to despair of mercy, G-d forbid — for Hashem is still with them and near them, for the whole earth is filled with His glory.
