משיבת נפש - Meshivas Nefesh
וַאֲפִלּוּ מִי שֶׁנָּפַל חַס וְשָׁלוֹם, מְאד מְאד וּמֻנָּח בִּשְׁאוֹל תַּחְתִּיּוֹת חַס וְשָׁלוֹם, אַף עַל פִּי כֵן יֵשׁ לוֹ תִּקְוָה גְּדוֹלָה עַל יְדֵי הַצַּדִּיק הַגָּדוֹל הָאֲמִתִּי, כִּי עַל יָדוֹ יְכוֹלִין הַכּל לְקַבֵּל חִיּוּת מֵהַקְּדֻשָּׁה בְּכָל מָקוֹם שֶׁהֵם, עַל כֵּן בֶּאֱמֶת אֵין שׁוּם יֵאוּשׁ בָּעוֹלָם כְּלָל (קַיין יֵאוּשׁ אִיז גָּאר נִיט פַאר הַאנְדִין). וְאֵיךְ שֶׁהוּא אֲפִלּוּ אִם נָפַל לְמָקוֹם שֶׁנָּפַל רַחֲמָנָא לִצְלַן, אַף עַל פִּי כֵן מֵאַחַר שֶׁמְּחַזֵּק אֶת עַצְמוֹ בַּמֶה שֶּׁהוּא, עֲדַיִן יֵשׁ לוֹ תִּקְוָה לָשׁוּב וְלַחֲזר אֵלָיו יִתְבָּרַךְ. וְהָעִקָּר הוּא "מִבֶּטֶן שְׁאוֹל שִׁוַּעְתִּי", כִּי גַּם צְעָקָה מִשְּׁאוֹל תַּחְתִּיּוֹת אֵינָהּ נֶאֱבֶדֶת לְעוֹלָם, וְיִצְעַק וְיִצְעַק וְלא יִתְיָאֵשׁ עַצְמוֹ מִן הַצְּעָקָה לְעוֹלָם, רַק יִצְעַק וְיִתְחַנֵּן לִפְנֵי ה יִתְבָּרַךְ תָּמִיד יִהְיֶה אֵיךְ שֶׁיִּהְיֶה עַד יַשְׁקִיף וְיֵרֶא ה מִשָּׁמַיִם (שָׁם ע"ח)
And even one who has fallen very greatly, G-d forbid, and lies in the lowest depths, G-d forbid — even so there is great hope for him through the great, true Tzadik, for through him everyone can receive vitality from holiness in every place they are. Therefore in truth there is absolutely no despair in the world at all — kayn yeyush iz gor nit forhanden [no despair exists whatsoever]. And however one is — even if one has fallen to wherever one has fallen, G-d have mercy — even so, since he strengthens himself with whatever he has, there is still hope to return and come back to Him. And the essential matter is: "From the belly of the depths I cried out" — for even a cry from the lowest depths is never lost, and he should cry out and cry out and never despair of crying — only cry and beseech before Hashem.
