After warmly greeting you with great love — I hereby bring you the tidings that blessed be G‑d — a son was born, with a good and auspicious sign and fortune, to our beloved dear and mighty companion, our Master R' Yaakov Zev the Cohen, may he live and be strong [R' Yankel — the beloved companion of Letters 14–20, now a father!]. And he entered the covenant of Avraham our Father at the proper time — on Tuesday, Parashas Vayeitzei. And blessed be G‑d — we were very joyful! May it be His will that he merit to raise him for Torah, the wedding canopy, and good deeds. And may he and all his descendants be true Breslov Chassidim. And may they have much nachas from him.
