Beginner: Sometimes Hashem performs miracles through the great halachic decisors. Just as their rulings on what is forbidden and permitted are accepted, so too when they declare that something will happen, that very ruling becomes a miracle. The 'mishpetei piv' — the judgments of His mouth, voiced through His chosen poskim — themselves carry the weight of mofes. This is the secret behind the wonders attributed to the Geonim of earlier generations. Intermediate: **Sometimes Hashem performs mofsim through the poskim** — בבחינת "מופתיו ומשפטי פיהו" (דברי הימים א טז:יב). Through 'mishpetei piv' — that he poskens that it should be so — a mofes is made. Because he is mekabel as a baal-poseik, when he poskens on issur ve-heter his da'as is mekabel; so too when he poskens on any matter, his da'as is mekabel and **mofsim are made through him**.
