"And for all the mighty hand and for all the great awe which Moshe did before the eyes of all Israel." [Devarim 34:12]

I. Tikun Fifty-Two — Five Fingers; Five Supernal Levels; The Great Day of Judgment

"The mighty hand" — five fingers — five supernal levels — the totality of faith. All will be strengthened at the time of redemption to be revealed in their lights as is fitting. "The great awe" — this is the great day of judgment. For then the King prepares to establish the worlds — Tikun after Tikun — to be renewed in the newness that comes afterward.

II. Tikun Fifty-Three — Birth Pangs of Mashiach; Yaakov and Yisrael; Gog

"The mighty hand" — at the time Mashiach the King is revealed. For all the supernal lights will be revealed below — to strengthen Israel — so they will not fear those birth pangs of Mashiach that are destined to occur in those twelve months. "The great awe" — for all the supernal levels are prepared to be established in those twelve months — from within those birth pangs truly. And afterward all will be revealed in great and mighty light. Then: "fortunate are you, O Israel — who is like you — a people saved by Hashem" [Devarim 33:29] — the complete Name in all its letters. Then they will go out from exile with many supernal crowns and Tikunim. And how many battles will they fight against the idol-worshipping nations and break them completely. And all through these Tikunim that were established from within those birth pangs mentioned. And afterward all: "and his resting place shall be glorious" [Yeshayahu 11:10]. Fortunate is the portion of Israel.

Then Avraham the pious elder arose and said to Yaakov: beloved son — arise now and awaken words before the Shechina. For now the Vav is revealed in you — as it is written of it: "and I will remember My covenant with Yaakov" [Vayikra 26:42]. For Yaakov — of whom it is said: "for he is small" [Amos 7:2]. And Yisrael is great. But at the time of the redemption — Yisrael will be revealed truly — for in it: "for you have striven with G-d..." [Bereishis 32:29]. And if you say Yaakov will not appear — not so. Rather Yaakov himself will return in this Vav that is revealed in him. The mystery: "not now shall Yaakov be ashamed..." [Yeshayahu 29:22].

Then Yaakov the chosen one arose and said: truly "the mighty hand" — at the time of the birth pangs of Mashiach — when KuSh will join as one — and through them Israel will be strengthened. On this mystery it is written: "and I shall return My hand upon you" [Yeshayahu 1:25]. What is "and I shall return"? — Beyond the outstretched hand in exile — "and I shall return My hand" truly — to strengthen them. Furthermore — "and I shall return" — many times — time after time. For many levels will be awakened at that time to be established. And how many anguishes will come upon Israel until matters are established. Then: "she shall be called the City of Righteousness" — through MaBY from the side of the left. Afterward: "Zion shall be redeemed through justice and those who return through righteousness" — through MaBD from the side of the right.

Then Avraham arose a second time and said: truly — how many times will the Mighty Hand be awakened — and all will join to wage war afterward against all the nations — against the wicked Gog. And of him it is said: "and I shall set My hand upon them" [Yechezkel 38:22]. Then: "and I will judge him with pestilence and with blood" — for all levels that came in judgment upon Israel — one by one — will all join together against the wicked Gog. And every other side will be removed from the world at that time. And: "the great awe" — afterward all levels will join as one to illuminate upon Israel. Then: "and his resting place shall be glorious." Fortunate is their portion.
