In the year 5579 — I began to engage in establishing the press in my home — in order to return and print his holy books with many many wondrous corrections. And I had great battles in this and countless great and massive obstacles. And through His wondrous salvation — Hashem's will succeeded in my hand. And I completed the matter in three years — that is, from the year 5579 until the end of the year 5581. At that time — the printing of the holy books Likutay Moharan First and Second volumes and the Sefer Aleph-Beis with the names of the Tzadikim was completed excellently — with several good additions. And also my son Shakhna may he live printed without my knowledge the Tikun Haklali mentioned above. And this was the budding of the salvation for the printing of the Prayers. And afterward in the year 5582 — at its beginning — my son mentioned above immediately began to print all the Prayers. But there were very massive obstacles. And only twenty-two Prayers were completed. And in that same year — the year 5582 — I traveled to Eretz Yisroel with Rabbi Yehuda Eliezer mentioned above. And I merited to be on the holy soil. And I returned from there in that same year. And in the year 5583 — I came home in peace — as is recorded at length in this book. And in that same year there was the first wedding of my son Yitzchak may he live in Tchirkas.

And upon my return from there — very close to Rosh Hashonah 5584 — I became strengthened to engage in the printing of the Prayers. And Hashem Blessed be He in His awesome wonders sent then into the heart of one fitting and upright man from our anshei sh'lomaynu — who suddenly pledged on the road — before he had met with me on that Rosh Hashonah mentioned above — to give a certain sum for the printing of the Prayers. And also Hashem then sent into my mind wondrous innovations about the greatness of the Prayers made from Torah teachings — as he zichrono livracha had warned us — that upon them depends the upholding of Torah and mitzvos — as is written by us with Hashem's help [Likutay Tinyanna §25]. And through all of this Hashem Blessed be He strengthened me — until I brought my intention from potential to actual. And in the year 5584 I printed the Prayers from §65 until the end of Part One and Part Two until §14. And the multitude of obstacles I had had regarding this previously was beyond measure. But Hashem Blessed be He helped me and strengthened my heart and provided me with expenses. Until I engaged in printing all the winter mentioned above — until we completed all the above — without outside craftsmen — only our own anshei sh'lomaynu whom I had taught the craft. And one of them — R.M. — had known the craft from before. And they engaged in printing for the sake of the mitzvah — all that winter mentioned above — until we completed as mentioned.
