On Friday — I and Rabbi Yehuda Eliezer went to the grave of the holy Ari zichrono livracha. And near him lay Rabbi Moshe Cordovero zichrono livracha. And Rabbi Shlomo Alkabetz zichrono livracha — who composed "Lecha Dodi." And other awesome Tzadikim. And nearby was the grave of the Beis Yosef and the Alshich and so on. And we stood at the grave of the holy Ari zichrono livracha. And we poured out our prayer there. Praised be G-d who helped us until here — in His immense mercy — that we merited to come to Eretz Yisroel at such a time of war. How great are the works of Hashem! What shall I say — what shall I speak — how shall I come before Hashem for all the good He has bestowed upon me. On Shabbas — I ate at Rabbi Shaul mentioned above. And on Shabbas night — several men came to me. And I told them much from Rabbainu zichrono livracha — about the matter of his journey to the Holy Land. And I also said before them some words of Torah from Rabbainu zichrono livracha. And afterward Rabbi Shaul pressed me to go to the rav from Skolya. And I went there — and it was already about midnight. And also there at the house of the rav mentioned above — I said before them several words of Torah from our awesome Rabbainu zichrono livracha. And all of this was for me a joy and very great gladness — that I merited in the Holy Land to speak words of Torah from his awesome Torah of Rabbainu zichrono livracha.
