בְּיוֹם שֵׁנִי, פָּרָשַׁת בָּלָק יָצָאתִי מִטְּבֶרְיָא וְלִוּוּ אוֹתִי בְּכָבוֹד גָּדוֹל בְּיוֹם שְׁלִישִׁי בָּאתִי לִצְפָת, בְּיוֹם רְבִיעִי הָיִיתִי עַל קֶבֶר בְּנָיָהוּ בֶּן יְהוֹיָדָע בְּיוֹם חֲמִישִׁי חָזַרְנוּ וְהָלַכְנוּ שֵׁנִית עַל קֶבֶר הָאֲרִ"י זִכְרוֹנוֹ לִבְרָכָה בְּשַׁבַּת קדֶשׁ אָכַלְתִּי אֵצֶל הָרַב מִסְּקוֹלְיֶע בְּלֵיל שַׁבָּת רָקַּדְתִּי בְּשִׂמְחָה עִם רַבִּי אַבָּא שׁוֹ"ב וְרַבִּי משֶׁה יוֹנָה בְּיוֹם שֵׁנִי, פָּרָשַׁת פִּינְחָס חָזַרְנוּ וְהָלַכְנוּ לִמְעָרַת הוֹשֵׁעַ בֶּן בְּאֵרִי, וְאָז פָּתַח לָנוּ נַעַר אֶחָד אֶת הַפֶּתַח וְנִכְנַסְנוּ לְשָׁם וְשָׁפַכְנוּ שִׂיחֵנוּ שָׁם בִּבְכִי וּבְתַחֲנוּנִים, וְאָז כְּבָר הָיִינוּ מוּכָנִים לָצֵאת מִצְּפַת לַחֲזר לְבֵיתֵנוּ:
From there we went. And we came to the cave of Hillel the Elder and his students. And we entered there. And I drank of the waters that flowed there — among several graves of his students. And through this I became somewhat stronger. And I entered until the place of Hillel the Elder — whose place was closed. And there I poured out my prayer somewhat with arousal. And afterward joy came upon us there. And we prayed Mincha there in joy. And we wished to go from there to the cave of Shammai. But the people detained me. And I was also at the grave of the Tanna Rabbi Yitzchak — who was placed in the courtyard of the Rashbi.
