ימי מוהרנ"ת - Yemei Moharnat
On Thursday — we went to the Beis HaChayyim — to the grave of the Tanna Rabbi Yitzchak Nappacha. And also resting there is Rabbi Yirmiyah of Haifa. From there we went until we came to the Cave of Eliyahu. And they did not wish to allow us to enter. And there were several obstacles about this. And Hashem Blessed be He helped me and I overcame them and we all entered there. And the cave was a wondrous novelty. And we greatly rejoiced there. And afterward when we went out — until we came to the entrance of the courtyard of the cave — they began to sing and play — until we came into great joy. And we danced there with joy with the help of Hashem Blessed be He. From there we went until we came to the grave of Elisha Ben Shafat — upon which until now a church of theirs had stood. And nearby — the Turkish Pasha recently demolished it. And now it was possible to go to his holy grave. And praised be G-d — we all were there with the help of Hashem Blessed be He. In Haifa we sat until Wednesday — Parshas Matos. And it was a pleasure for me that I was delayed in Haifa — that I merited to be in Eretz Yisroel more days. In particular since Rabbainu zichrono livracha when he entered Eretz Yisroel came first to Haifa — and there he immediately merited what he merited — and was delayed there all the Yom Tov days from Rosh Hashonah until after Sukkos. Blessed be Hashem that we merited to walk on holy soil in the place where our awesome Rabbainu zichrono livracha walked.
