בִּשְׁנַת תקס"ט בֵּין פֶּסַח לַעֲצֶרֶת הֵכִין אֶת עַצְמוֹ רַבֵּנוּ זִכְרוֹנוֹ לִבְרָכָה לִנְסֹעַ עוֹד הַפַּעַם לִקְהִלַּת קדֶשׁ לֶמְבֶּרְגְּ וּכְבָר הֵכִינוּ הַכּל לְצרֶךְ הַנְּסִיעָה וְהִנִּיחוּ הַחֲפָצִים הַצְּרִיכִין לַדֶּרֶךְ לְתוֹךְ הַשַּׂקִּים כְּדֶרֶךְ הַנּוֹסְעִים וְהָיָה מוּכָן לִנְסֹעַ מִיָּד וְנוֹדַע הַדָּבָר לָנוּ בִּקְהִלַּת-קדֶשׁ נֶעמִירוֹב שֶׁרַבֵּנוּ זִכְרוֹנוֹ לִבְרָכָה יִסַּע מִיָּד לְלֶמְבֶּרְגְּ וְתֵכֶף זֵרַזְנוּ עַצְמֵנוּ וְרַצְנוּ לְכָאן בְּחִפָּזוֹן גָּדוֹל אַךְ בְּבוֹאֵנוּ לְכָאן כְּבָר נִמְלַךְ רַבֵּנוּ זִכְרוֹנוֹ לִבְרָכָה מִנְּסִיעָתוֹ וְלא רָצָה לִנְסֹעַ עוֹד וּבְבוֹאֵנוּ לְכָאן מָצָאנוּ עֲדַיִן מֻנָּחִים כָּל הַשַּׂקִּים עִם הַחֲפָצִים בְּתוֹכָם לִנְסֹעַ מִיָּד כַּנַּ"ל אַךְ טֶרֶם בּוֹאֵנוּ לְכָאן נִמְלַךְ מִנְּסִיעָתוֹ כַּנַּ"ל וְהֵבִינוּ מִדְּבָרָיו הַקְּדוֹשִׁים שֶׁהָיָה בָּזֶה עִנְיָן גָּדוֹל וְסוֹדוֹת נִסְתָּרִים מַה שֶּׁבִּתְחִלָּה חָפֵץ לִנְסֹעַ וְאַחַר כָּךְ נִמְלַךְ, וּפַעַם אַחַת אָמַר שֶׁגַּם זֶה מִצַּד גִּלְגּוּלֵי הַנְּשָׁמוֹת מַה שֶּׁאֶחָד חָפֵץ וּמֵכִין אֶת עַצְמוֹ לִנְסֹעַ, וְאַחַר כָּךְ נִמְלַךְ כַּנִּדְפָּס בִּמְקוֹמוֹ (שִׂיחוֹת הָרַ"ן קצ"ה) עַיֵּן שָׁם:
And he traveled from Kreminchak and came home here to Breslov. And he did not delay long. And then he undertook the great journey to the region of Polis, to the holy community of Navoritch, and so on. And he returned from there to Ostraha and Zaslov, and so on — as is explained elsewhere [Chayay Moharan §151]. And this journey — in which he subjected himself to such harsh and difficult wandering — for no ordinary reason whatsoever — is a very great wonder. For he gathered no money from this journey; on the contrary, he spent a very large sum from his own pocket for travel expenses. Therefore, to this day no one knows any hint or explanation for this journey — which was a very great and exalted wonder. And similarly he undertook several other journeys for no ordinary reason — such as to Sharigrod, and so on. But this journey lasted a very long time, and involved harsh and mighty wanderings and much expense. And no one knows his awesome intention in this.
