And on that day — after Yom Kippur — he needed to leave that lodging and go to the lodging where he had sat before Rosh Hashana. For in Uman that summer he sat in several lodgings: at first he entered the house of Rabbi Nachman-Nussun from the fourth of Iyar until after Shavuos. And afterward he left from there and sat in the house of Rabbi Yosef-Shmuel. From there he left and entered another house close to Shabbas Nachamu. And in all of this there is much to tell and this is not its place. And afterward before Rosh Hashana he left that house and returned to the house of Rabbi Nachman-Nussun temporarily — to be there from Rosh Hashana until after Yom Kippur — because that house pleased him more for praying and saying Torah at Rosh Hashana. And he did not leave from there until the day mentioned above — which was the day after Yom Kippur. And he lingered there until after midday. And afterward he went out from there and entered the house mentioned above where he had sat before Rosh Hashana. And there he passed away.
